No because we live in the age of digital goods. Copying data doesn’t result in “real loss” because we can infinitely replicate at no cost. It a “potential loss” of a sale.

@magozone23 Sorry , but what you are failing to understand is here "overseas" we are not getting the same stuff you get now. There's a delay in publishing, and mangas that does not blow up in Japan wont come here. We don't have the means to read the manga that are pirated officially.
