I clocked over 20,000 miles in Forza Horizon 1 and none of those were "auto drive". After collecting everything in FUEL, I continued to plod around the wasteland to a total sum of 5000km. I want a game that's lovingly made for players who want to do (almost) all the driving. Players like me who'd rather park somewhere immersive to grab a snack, like one of the game's gas stations. ⛽️ Drivers who appreciate the risk & reward of avoiding *hard* barriers and keeping your wheels on the road or else. Enthusiasts who gravitate to narrow winding roads, only using open highways like this as necessary navigational arteries or for maximum-speed runs. I want an open world driving sim so intrinsically delightful that it begs to be played without fast travel, automation, or mentally "checking out" and driving straight from A to B while smashing through everything. Videogames weren't invented to be played like that! Those are symptoms of tedium. 😪 With all due respect to people who enjoy FH6 for its accessibility & conveniences: I don't want to play a game made for you to enjoy. It's not fun.

This may sound dumb, but there’s one thing in this video that shows why Max is so good. His hands: Look how little movement there is and how every movement has intention. Even with a sim wheel that probably has very little feel, there’s no unnecessary movement trying to “feel” Where the car is. This allows in any car for the tire to achieve its max slip angle. Takes less energy from the car and it’s movement in unnecessary directions Now you want this when driving fast and then you want @PatricioOWard fast hands when it goes wrong. He also has that. Damn impressive
