This guy even had to slow down towards the end. If Ajayi runs all the way to the end, he will be hitting 9.6 easily. This guy is a beast. Abeg if we need to start contributing to a designated account for him to avoid the Ofili story, let us do that biko. We can't afford to lose a national treasure like this one.

That Sangara guy is fire. I will prefer him over Adam. Between, Adam is injury prone. I wouldn't mind getting both of them though since we will be losing Endo, and most likely Curtis and Macca. We desperately need a lefty midfielder in that midfield. That is something we have lacked over a period of time.

-NDC announced Peter Obi as the sole presidential candidate. Handpicked. -PDP declared Goodluck Jonathan the sole candidate for presidential election. Selected. -APC waived the screening requirement for Tinubu. Zero competition. So what's the difference between these three parties now since none wants to follow due process to contest? And mind you, holding party primaries is mandatory according to Electoral Act and the 1999 Constitution, which states that a political party cannot simply handpick its flagbearer unless every other contestant willingly withdraws, which I think is very impossible in this Nigeria we are in. So the law is already being broken by the ones who want to lead Nigeria to become a law abiding nation. OK.

We have removed Kled from the Nigerian app store and IP banned the entire region. The first thing I would like to say is I have nothing against Nigeria. I have a ton of friends from this region and these were some of our earliest app adopters. Genuinely, thank you all for the support. Kled has been up and running and out of beta for 4 months now. We have paid out hundreds of thousands of people for their data, and our users have uploaded over 1 billion assets onto our platform. After several months of uploads we found that Nigeria had a ≈95% fraud rate. Instead of real, usable data, users were uploading pictures of black screens, duplicate photos, internet generated images, AI generated images, etc. at an unimaginable scale. In comparison, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines have a less than 10% fraud rate across 10x the userbase size. Our fraud system is fast to catch these issues but the level of complexity of these schemes is getting out of hand. This weekend we were flooded with thousands of fake Japanese passports and identity cards with Nigerians photoshopped onto them in our KYC system. That was the final straw. As a startup we can't afford to eat the costs of that data overhead, so we temporarily removed the app from the region while we improved our fraud detection and banning system to quickly filter out bad actors when the time is right. On top of all of this, every time we make a post there is someone asking us to bring the region back within seconds. We hear you, but it's gotten out of hand. We've made this decision with great care. We love everyone who has genuinely supported Kled from Nigeria, and we hope to return when the time is right. -Kled Team

It's cr@zy watching VDM build himself and his movement so powerful in just less than four years. He's the only one that can call out anyone in Nigeria no matter how big you are. Even those we're all scared to call out - Eberetv This is why they hate VDM normally. They all want to continue scamming people without anyone having the balls to call them out. Imagine what social media would have looked like without VDM, a lot of people would have been scammed whether through advertisement, referring or direct scam. I'm happy some people that use to doubts VDM are now realizing how powerful he has built himself and his movement in less than 4 years. "Poor man don get influence." Please help me repost massively to reach haters coven🙏🙏🙏

This lady is beautiful and intelligent. She replied to that commenter perfectly and also spread some hot pepper to VDM's haters. Everything she said is nothing but the truth. THey just want VDM down for absolutely no reason. Even when you're talking about something else entirely as a ratel, VDM haters will still find a way to insert VDM into it. They're obsessed and can't live without him. Standing Ovation for this beautiful lady. Please repost for them to see it.

Dear #Moroccans, this guys doesn't speak for us Nigerians. CAF did the right thing. Senegal does not deserve to be champions with that nonsense they displayed to the whole world. We all know that the referring decisions kinda favored you guys all through the tournament but that is something host nations normally enjoy. So no one can blame you guys for that. Congratulations once more. I can not see how CAS would rule against you guys here.

I know many people in #Maroc, #Morocco don’t want to hear this, considering the abuse, a lot of it racist, in reaction to my commentary and reporting in The @guardian and The @ObserverUK, concerning the #AFCON 2025 final palaver, but I will say it, regardless: I have HUGE RESPECT for Morocco, as a country. Your football officials, with whom I personally relate, KNOW this. But I CANNOT, because I respect your country, be your unquestioning sycophant and not do my professional duty correctly. My reputation rests on doing my job WITHOUT FEAR OR FAVOUR and being ACCURATE. I will discharge that responsibility, NO MATTER THE COST. #Senegal did mess up, badly, during the AFCON final. There is no doubt about that. BUT the laws of ⚽️, which I know inside and out, make it clear that the AFCON 🏆 CANNOT be legitimately taken from them. That, my dear friends, is the unvarnished truth. 🙏🏾

You are missing a critical point here. Senegal was not stripped of the title for the sake of stripping them. There are laid down rules. The rules of the game was applied to the situation. Application of the rules of the game should never be based on emotions or sentiments. Rules are Rules. Guess what, if the tables were turned, Senegal would have protested as well. Even Nigeria protested to get Congo kicked out of the world cup. Nobody said anything about it. Why is Moroccos case different??

@Benitezz05 @Sive21394333 @MickyJnr__ Senegal misbehaved, realized their mistake & completed the game. A proper punishment would have been a "ban + fine" OR "points deduction + fine", not stripping Senegal off the title. The title stripping is what's causing the uproar. You cannot override the ref's final decision.

🇲🇦 OFFICIAL FROM FRMF 🗞️ Morocco’s FA has spoken following the CAF Appeal Committee decision confirming them as AFCON 2025 winners: ✅ They say the decision respects the rules and ensures fairness in African competitions. ✅ This was never about the performance on the pitch, only that the rules are properly applied. ✅ They followed all legal steps, attended hearings and trusted the process. ✅ CAF now acknowledges that the rules weren’t fully respected before and this decision sets a precedent for future cases. ✅ Focus now shifts to upcoming competitions like the World Cup and Women’s AFCON. ✅ They also salute all teams who participated & showing respect for African football. What do you think of this statement? 👀 #AfricanFootball #AFCONwithMicky

@chaplinez70 Thank you so much. The Moroccan team had no choice but to follow the refs directive. People are acting like if they had offered Morocco the opportunity of being declared winners at that time, they would have rejected it.

@obani_official @QualityQuadry It is not in your place to walk off the pitch anytime you like and walk back in. That is not how football works. You must take permission from the the ref before you leave the pitch.

@QualityQuadry Disruption in games sometimes occur, the Senegalese players walked off the pitch and later returned to continue after several pleas from higher authorities, only for Diaz to miss that pk unwillingly I believe FIfa should look into that penalty miss

Everyone is just being too emotional. Rules are rules. Senegal violated the rules and disgraced the whole of Africa, and you expect CAF not to sanction them? FIFA President said it at the AFCON final after the show of shame by Senegal 🇸🇳 that what their behaviour have no place in Football. It's sad, though, and I believe this will serve as a big lesson to other African countries.

I keep saying it, Senegal should have been banned from Football for that behavior. CAF needs to apply very harsh sanctions on things like this so people and other teams will learn. The level of disrespect was stunning. A game where the whole world was watching. Its disgraceful. And to even see people support Senegal is a shame. Rules are Rules and they must be respected.

Winning a trophy in a courtroom 2 months later might be 'legal,' but does it feel like football? 🏆⚖️ If we start awarding continental titles based on technicalities and walk-offs rather than the final score on the pitch, African football is in a dangerous spot. Senegal won the battle, but Morocco won the paperwork. Is this really the 'fairness' CAF is talking about? 🤔

Key word, fans were fighting. the player didnt feel safe. This is completely different. They left the field because they were protesting against the referees decision. Who on earth does that??? They should not only be stripped of the title, they should be banned for years. We need to set a very strong precedent so everyone would know that such attitude will never be tolerated

Argentina left the pitch in a qualifying game with Brazil when fans were fighting, they refused to start the game, and nothing happened, the game was delayed and was later resumed the game. Since Senegal did not leave the stadium, but returned to complete the game, the appeal by Morocco is flawed

There are a number of points I would like to make on this CAF Appeals Committee ruling. First, let’s clear the air on this Senegal leaving the pitch for 15 minutes argument. There is nothing in the CAF Afcon Regulations that specifically state how much time a team may be off the pitch for them to forfeit the game. Second, there is nothing in the IFAB Laws of the Game addressing a team walking off and/abandoning a game. With those pieces of housekeeping done, let’s look at the actual regulations. And I will focus on Art 82 as it is the main crux of the issue. Art 84 is simply the sanction for violation. ARTICLE 82 If, for any reason whatsoever, a team withdraws from the competition or does not report for a match, or refuses to play or LEAVES THE GROUND before the regular end of the match without the authorisation of the referee, it shall be considered looser and shall be eliminated for good from the current competition. The same shall apply for the teams previously disqualified by decision of CAF. There are two offenses here that Senegal MAY have committed. The first is “refusing to play” the second is “leaves the ground” REFUSING TO PLAY It could be argued by the language of the Regulation that that does not apply to Senegal because by starting and playing the game, they did not “refuse to play”. Looking at the chronology of the wording, it starts with - withdraws from the competition - does not report for a match - refuses to play - leaves the ground The progression is clear: - not appearing for the competition - appearing but not showing up to play - showing up but refusing to play - and then leaving after If we go by the letter and progression there, then we can say that the only one that applies to Senegal is the last one. If the language had been “refuses to continue play”, with the operative word there being “continue” that might present a stronger case. But this might just be me splitting hairs. Now to the “leaves the ground” part. There are 16 mentions of “field” or “field of play” in these AFCON Regulations in reference to the pitch. Here are two examples: ART 16.20.2 The match is restarted with the same players on the FIELD and with the same substitutes available when the match was interrupted; ART 42.3 A player expelled from the FIELD by the referee is automatically suspended for the following match in the framework of the same competition, without prejudice to other sanctions that might be imposed upon him subsequently. Mentions of ground always refer to the venue, not the pitch. This distinction was clearly not accidental. Senegal may have left the field, but they did not leave the ground. So if we follow that argument, then we can see that there would have been no reason for the game to be abandoned as Senegal did not leave the ground. Only the field. Clear distinction Finally, we go to the outcome of the game and the authority of the referee to determine the result LAW 5 The decisions of the referee regarding facts connected with play, including whether or not a goal is scored and the result of the match, are final. The decisions of the referee, and all other match officials, must always be respected. “The referee may not change a restart decision on realising that it is incorrect or on the advice of another match official IF PLAY HAS RESTARTED or if play has restarted or the referee has signalled the end of the first or second half (including extra time) and left the field of play or abandoned the match. Clearly, even if we agree that the referee made a mistake in not abandoning the game, the fact that they completed the second half, and played two additional periods of extra time before coming to a result, precludes anything else. The referee restarted the game, it was played to a conclusion and there was a result. Senegal won. Morocco lost. C’est finis QED
