@angiebeeb He’s no longer Taoiseach so he’s not entitled to Garda protection. If he wants it now, he should pay for it himself. He can well afford it. The taxpayer shouldn’t have to foot his security bills anymore.

The Left is not one group though. And I think PB4P is an anathema to most left leaning people. Many of them wouldn’t support Sinn Fein either. So thinking there’s going to be a left pact is a waste of time. They’d sooner not vote. And that’s what happened. I’d normally have thought of giving Labour a number two vote, but going back to 2011 I decided not too, because of this ‘left pact’ idea. I just wasn’t sure they weren’t going to align themselves with some dreadful shitebags who are left leaning but in a direction that I wouldn’t want anything to do with. Since then, and because of this ‘Left Pact’ idea I only vote for the candidate I would most like to see get elected
