This morning, I stepped out on my way somewhere when a lady called out to me, saying “POS.” I shook my head to signal I wasn’t interested and kept walking. After taking a few steps, something made me turn back. I walked up to her, transferred the amount with her charges, and we completed the transaction. Honestly, I didn’t urgently need the cash. It was my money, and I wasn’t even sure I needed it at that moment—but I took it anyway, just in case. That got me thinking… if she hadn’t called out, believing that someone passing by might need her service because of umbrella and shop which is very visible, she wouldn’t have gotten me as a customer. Moral of the story: Don’t sit back and wait—put yourself out there. Keep pushing in whatever legitimate thing you’re doing to earn a living. The right opportunity might just be passing by.
