Deeply moved to join Prof. @YossiSheffi, Anat Sheffi, and @AFMDA at @MIT for this ambulance dedication. Yossi and Anat, an ambulance bearing your family’s name will soon be racing to save lives as part of the @Mdais fleet. There is no greater gift. 🚑🇮🇱

After the film, Hannie Ricardo, whose daughter Oriya was murdered at Nova, joined Shari Redstone on a panel moderated by David Friedman. A line from Oriya's journal stayed with me: "I deserve to be happy." I am grateful to everyone who came last night and to Hannie for her courage in sharing her story.

Last night, in a powerful and moving collaboration between the Redstone Family Foundation, the Lappin Foundation and @IsraelinBoston we screened “October Shadows”, a documentary directed by Jonathan Silvers, about the survivors of the October 7th massacre.

Had the privilege of joining the congregants of Temple Emanuel of Andover for a conversation on Israel’s perspective and the evolving landscape in the Middle East. Grateful to the Temple Emanuel community for such a heartwarming, thoughtful exchange. 🇮🇱

The Consulate General of Israel in Toronto and Western Canada condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the two antisemitic attacks that took place in the GTA this weekend. On Saturday, a Jewish man was assaulted outside the Synagogue at the Sephardic Kehila Centre while accompanied by his child. On Sunday, a Jewish-owned store was targeted for the third time, with a rock thrown through its window. These are not isolated incidents. They are expressions of rising antisemitism, manifesting in repeated, targeted violence against the Jewish community. These events are the direct product of a climate in which antisemitism has been tolerated and permitted to take root and proliferate. What is required now is consistent action and clear consequences that restore deterrence and ensure the safety of Jewish Canadians.

The conduct of the individual exposed in this report is disgusting and beyond the pale. This is open Jew-hatred, plain and simple. Hitler’s regime murdered 6 million Jews. Dressing as Hitler, marking his birthday, performing Nazi salutes, and stomping on the flag of Israel - home to half the world’s Jews - to target Boston Marathon runners is not a costume. It is intimidation. This has no place on the streets of Boston or anywhere else, and must be condemned without reservation.
Katie Pavlich Tonight@KatiePavlichNN

WHAT A LOSER: A man dressed as Hitler was seen along the Boston Marathon route performing a Nazi salute to any Jewish or Israeli runners while stomping on an Israeli flag. To some runners, he even said, "Happy 4/20," which is Hitler's birthday.

With one heart, members of the Israeli and Jewish community in Boston gathered last night for the annual ceremony of the Consulate General of Israel to New England. We stood together in memory of Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terror—those to whom we owe our being here. We came to remember and honor together those to whom we owe so much. May their memory be blessed and engraved in the heart of the nation.🕯️🇮🇱

I am horrified and deeply disturbed by the antisemitic attack at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan today. No community should ever fear violence or terror, especially in a house of worship. Words matter. Incitement and antisemitism lead to violence, and we are seeing the consequences. Antisemitism must be condemned clearly and unequivocally. To the Jewish community in Michigan: we stand with you, now and always. I remain at your disposal for any support you may need.

3/3 Together, we pledged: We will remember. We will educate. We will stand against antisemitism. We will ensure that the six million are never forgotten, and that their memory serves as an eternal warning to humanity. This joint act of remembrance reflects not only our past, but our moral duty in the present and for future generations. May their memory be a blessing

2/3 I was deeply honored to stand together with CG Dr. Sonja Kreibich, alongside social and religious leaders, City of Boston officials and representatives, members of Boston’s diplomatic community, and Jewish leadership. United in remembrance, we laid a wreath and reaffirmed our shared commitment and responsibility.
