One of my favorite places in Haifa - Madatech (The Israel National Museum of Science, Technology, and Space). The building exists from 1912!!! It used to be Technion (Israel Institute of Technology). My kids really like Madatech, we go there every year. There are permanent exhibitions that somehow don't become boring, for example Leonardo da Vinci room with his scientific inventions, Optical illusions room, Magic room, Green energy room, Acoustics hall and many others. In addition, Madatech launches changing exhibition every summer. We had Giant moving dinosaurs, Body world, Robotic world, etc. And now it's "Behind the screens" - everything about Internet and social media. Even the yard between the buildings is a science park which presents various inventions (of Archimedes, Newton, etc) and there is fountain in the middle where kids can play in the water during hot summer days. Most of exhibitions in this museum are interactive, kids can touch things, play with it, try how it works, feel curiosity, excitement , and desire to learn more :) Photos: top photo I took today, bottom photo - historical building in 1932.
