There are over 221,133 registered voters in Cincinnati, as of the May 2025 Primary. Today, only 66,101 of those registered voters actually voted. That’s 29.89% of registered voter turnout. Mayor Aftab stays in power. City Manager Sheryl Long stays as City Manager. Iris Roley stays as a consultant. All eight incumbent members of City Council stay in their positions. What does this mean? We’re right back to status quo. Less than 30%! Do not let us catch even one of you that chose not to vote, complaining on our page about anything involving the City. You have no voice, whatsoever. To those of you that voted? Thank you—regardless of who you voted for—at least you voted! We look forward to celebrating our wins in Colerain…the Police Levy passed and Shrek lost by a landslide. Thank you to everyone in Colerain who showed up to vote. Sadly, we didn’t get four, solid, law and order Judges elected today either. Expect even more of the same old revolving door at the courthouse. We love our City and our County…we didn’t need a miracle to fix it—we simply needed people to get up off of their lazy asses to vote. Shame on ‘em. Congratulations to everyone that won tonight. @BrianCinciBiz Our council and planning commission could have avoided this situation all together if they actually read what they voted on and spent time legislating instead of working on pet projects. They created a PUD without rules in place and ignored concerns raised by citizens last year

@BrianCinciBiz I'm one of the Norwood residents fighting this. As a city we have no issue with development. What we do have issue with is PLK fundamentally changing what our city looks like and developing in a way that hurts the homeowners around them. Quality of life is part of city planning.

Norwood City Council voted to kill a townhome project in a meeting where members appeared pained and confused, at times weren’t sure what they were voting on and ultimately sided with community pushback despite looming legal jeopardy, with one member citing reelection fears.
