OK folks, time for a reminder of why you buy and hold. Or even add to your position on dips. If you know what you own it's easy to weather the fear and uncertainty. The first ⬇️ chart is where stock is accumulated. Build your position on the dips. The second ⬇️ is where generational wealth is earned. I say earned because it's not easy having those huge drawdowns. If you built a big position on chart 1, the drawdowns on chart 2 are hundreds of thousands of dollars. 😱 Staying the course is tough. Takes some balls to not panic. If you make it to the far right you've definitely earned it! Even if you bought pre-Kaz, $OPEN is still in chart 1 accumulation stage. The next 3 months are a gift.

@Davo0820 While the chair may like Trump, a majority of the other voting members do not. I hope I'm wrong but I believe they'll let politics get in the way of doing the right thing. The deep state is...rather deep. 🤬

@iamjohnbaiano Come visit the area. Spend a week driving around. Wife and I did that in March. We found we love Naples. You may find something else is more you. Florida cities are so different you are just about guaranteed to find something you love.

I think it’s time to pull the trigger on a home in Florida. I see insane leverage for a buyer. My people from Florida. Where should I buy? Del Ray? Naples? Miami? Help me.
theficouple@theficouple

Theres over 215,000 homes for sale in Florida right now. ~45% have already cut their price & sellers are learning a lower price still may not be enough. If you believe in the lessons from Warren Buffett? ...Florida may be one of the best markets to buy in.

- Compound interest - Corporate taxes are paid by customers not companies - Every dime spent by government was taken from a taxpayer or printed - Printing money causes inflation - Basic logic and how to spot flaws in logic - Basic econ: supply and demand, penalize something gives you less of it (ex taxing investment), subsidizing something gives you more of it (ex each baby you have on welfare) - Science is based on scientific method not consensus

Looking back, in high school, I wish I had been taught shop basics, including the difference between grades and types of gasoline for the car and why it matters, how to change the oil, basic troubleshooting around the house, and basics of managing money and staying out of debt. This would include how buying a house, and a mortgage, and interest rates work; car loans; college costs; credit card interest; credit scores; etc. What are your thoughts…and what do you wish you had been taught?

Went to Colorado Springs yesterday. My girlfriend and I headed up to The Broadmoor Seven Falls. It was so damn hot. I felt like I was swimming in a dream. The mountains were beautiful. 🏔️ The waterfalls were the stuff of fairytales. But we were climbing steep staircases in the sun 🌞 to get there. Then, we were staring at pools of water and woods. Then we went back down before the heat could get to us. Later on, I looked at the photos and thought, "damn, this looks amazing." But at the time? I was walking through the heat. My girlfriend was feeling it more than me. I was enjoying myself, albeit deliriously. We head back into town. Get some Thai food. Walk through Old Colorado City. Get some ice cream at an old creamery. I get a softball 🥎 sized scoop of the praline flavor in a waffle cone. Head back to the hotel 🏨 room. Watch an episode of So Weird. Turn on the UFC event. Watch Paddy The Baddy submit his opponent in 30 seconds. Bad ass. Conor looks rough as he walks out, but I don't think much of it. I rethink that later when the fight ends in less than a minute. Conor does his flying roundhouse bullshit and blows out his knee immediately. Bro. Your countrymen flew across the world and paid for hotels and tickets to see that. If you were injured, you needed to pull out. Sleep. Wake up and take my girlfriend to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. You can spend hours walking through this place. Hippos. Giraffes. Bears. Eagles. Gorillas. Tigers. Lions. I take my girlfriend to the otters, and reveal to her that I paid for us to go feed the otters with the zookeepers. She's stoked. We go back there. One otter 🦦, Newton, starts retrieving buoys for her. Something old...something new...something blue...something borrowed... Right as she starts getting the gist, Newton brings her a sparkling rock. I get down on one knee and tell her I have another one. "Will you make me the luckiest man in the world?" I ask. She starts crying and says yes. We kiss. I put the ring on her finger. Great. Now I can stop worrying about losing this damn thing. It looks beautiful on her. We go out for Italian food to celebrate. We walk Old Colorado City again. We check out the boutiques while we text all our family members. I get more praline ice cream 🍦 because damn it, why not? I'm feeling pretty satisfied. And stuffed. We head home. It feels good to get in the AC. It was hot as hell the last couple of days. Time to get back to all these text messages while I catch up on UFC.

Kaz said in his last Open house that he could open the floods on the acquisitions if he wanted. But, it was not his priority. So like BT is saying, I think they are fine tuning. I think Mr Billett is diddy because he know what is coming in the next couple of months.
BestTweets@BestTweets82

I get the sense $OPEN has been holding the acquisitions back to stay on plan, prove the process, fine tune, etc. Monsieur Billett is anxious to take the reins off and let it fly. What a marvelous ride it will be.

Corollary: to achieve a 26% annual return, you need to earn a .45% ⬇️ return weekly. If you can earn .45% a week and compound that every week you'll earn 26% in a year. What does .45% look like? Suppose you have 1,000 shares of $OPEN. It was $4.78 at the close on Friday. 4.78*.0045 = .021. If you can earn just $.021 or more on your Opendoor holding this week you'll make your target .45%. Let's look at next week's calls ⬇️. The $6 call will get you .02. that's 20% out of the money. Pretty safe you won't be called away. If you are and you can't roll, at least you made 20% next week! I don't write calls on $OPEN because I'd be devastated to lose my stock. The point is, tons of stocks pay about .5% per week for far out of the money covered calls. Take CIFR for example, it's at $22.12 so you need to earn 10¢ to get your .45% return. The $27 option pays 12-16¢. Again to be in the money CIFR would have to move 20%+ by Friday. I firmly believe earning .45% a week is easily achieved. 26% a year, as Mr Never Sell shows, is all you need for an amazing life and retirement.

A chart of what happens with 1000 dollars if you can keep the rule of 26 (maintain a CAGR of 26%): 2026: $1,000 2029: $2,000 (doubled) 2032: $4,001 (doubled again) 2035: $8,005 2038: $16,012 2041: $32,030 2044: $64,072 2047: $128,169 2050: $256,385 2053: $512,867 2056: $1,025,927 ← already over $1 million 2059: $2.05 million 2062: $4.1 million 2065: $8.2 million 2068: $16.4 million 2071: $32.9 million 2074: $65.7 million 2077: $131.5 million 2080: $263 million 2083: $526 million 2086: $1.052 billion ← crossed $1 billion All you have to do is become a stock picker that can do 26% one year, and then do it the next year too.

$OPEN Friday Short Volume 59.7% Total Shares. 182.65 MM Shares Shorted $OPEN dropped hard yesterday after Trump posted he wouldn’t sign the housing bill. Stock gapped down from 5.40, hit a low of 4.76 in the first hour on heavy volume, closed at 4.77. Total volume 72.4 million—above average but half of Wednesday’s 112 million. Shorts were aggressive early, daily short volume around 60%. Short interest still sitting at 19.1% of the float. Classic Trump tweet dump. Daily short volume hit 59.7% of total shares traded, pulled straight from FINRA data via Fintel. That’s a solid chunk of the selling pressure yesterday.

5 weeks in the books of selling covered calls and we’ve made a total of $8,555.00 in premiums. It’s a pretty surreal feeling since that’s more than I take home after tax from my day job in 5 weeks. Haven’t had to roll a single contract yet, but I know the time will come so just doing my best to learn more in the meantime so I’m prepared when it does. As I mentioned earlier in the week, I’m helping my mom invest some of her retirement savings as well and selling covered calls has been a great cash flow generator for her to live off of in retirement. Still lots to learn but excited to keep it going! $OPEN $IREN $CIFR

100k is amazing! When it does start to run, do yourself a favor and pull up charts on other companies that made big runs. Notice the drawdowns. Internalize them. There will be a day $OPEN drops $2.50. Yes you just "lost" ¼ of a million dollars in a single day. That's painful. You want to sell. Don't sell! Nothing moves straight up. Everything draws down. $OPEN will hit $82 one day. Will you still have all your shares when it does? The chart below ⬇️ is currently down 50% yet again. I'm not concerned. I'm not selling. It will be the same for $OPEN. Generational moves take time. And conviction. And courage.

@BestTweets82 @Davo0820 I bought 15,000 more shares when it dipped yesterday taking me to a cool 100,000. Crazy.. I have a buddy under contract with open just waiting for the home inspection response. Very smooth so far. They did increase their response rate from two days to five he said yesterday.
