How the Concept Works
In an emergency (during takeoff, flight, or landing), the passenger cabin detaches from the wings, engines, and tail section.
Large parachutes (attached to the cabin roof) deploy automatically to slow the descent.
Inflatable rubber tubes or floats cushion the impact and keep the cabin buoyant for sea/water landings.
Luggage stays in a separate lower compartment.
The remaining aircraft structure (wings/fuselage) would presumably crash separately.
