2025 JOINT TAX BOARD STRATEGIC RETREAT DECLARED OPEN IN EKITI The 2025 Joint Tax Board (JTB) Strategic Retreat has officially commenced at the Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort and Conference Center, Ikogosi-Ekiti, Ekiti State. The retreat, which runs from September 11 to 14, 2025, was formally declared open by the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji. With the theme “Re-imagining the Nigerian Tax Eco-System: Harnessing the Four Tax Reform Laws as Game Changers in Tax Administration,” the retreat brings together key stakeholders to deliberate on the implementation and impact of the recently enacted tax reform laws. These include: ✓The Nigerian Tax Act ✓The Nigerian Tax Administration Act ✓The Nigerian Revenue Service Act ✓The Joint Revenue Service Act Distinguished personalities in attendance included Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Tax and Fiscal Reforms; Professor Abiola Sani, SAN; and the Executive Chairman of the @FIRSNigeria - FIRS (FIRS) and Chairman of the JTB, who was ably represented by Alhaji M.L.
