@Seqwater @Seqwater are in breach of the flood manual. They are knowingly compromising the flood compartment of Wivenhoe Dam in the eye of an impending flood event for water supply reasons.

Flood releases from Wivenhoe, Somerset and North Pine Dam are possible in the coming days due to forecast rainfall. Updates to follow: seqwater.com.au/dam-release-up…

Premier @DavidCrisafulli telling everyone in SEQ to prepare for the #cyclonealfred. Shouldn't someone tell @Seqwater to do the same thing?! Dams already overflowing & cyclone inbound. Next 2 days are critical for flood mitigation. Release waters now BEFORE it hits.

@GlennBroadhurst @Seqwater we are literally heading into a cyclone all dams full, mitigation capacity already impacted and it seems that @Seqwater are waiting until the rain has hit, the compartment is nearing full at which time downstream creeks are overflowing dealing with the runoff from the deluge.

@BevanSlattery @Seqwater This is my question too. It seems like total incompetence. It would seem we have two days to release the water before the predicted 600mm of rain per day arrives. Dams were built after the 1974 floods to help mitigate this issue... If full, what's the point?

I’m definitely delighted in the turnaround. The change in the shorting is merely a reflection of a change in fundamentals. Glad to be out of the ****house that’s for sure. Thanks @StockheadAU

Something that made a large impression on me when I started coding — each day when you're done working, you just save your work & it's there forever. Very unlike building something physical where your artifact can break, or math where daily progress is usually your mental state.

@DavidSacks @Benioff @salesforce As stated by others OAI NFP model was about control/safety/ethics not distribution of proceeds. Naive to create an LLC subsidiary and take other people money/shareholders and create conflicting interests between shareholder groups. Ethical v Fiduciary. They were outplayed.

If founders want to create a relationship between a for-profit and a non-profit entity, @Benioff showed the way with @salesforce: set up a standard Delaware C-corp with a chunk of stock owned by the foundation. The non-profit benefits from the success of, but doesn’t control, the for-profit company. Allowing a non-profit board, with little or no skin in the game, to control the for-profit entity is a recipe for agendas and unintended consequences.

@BevanSlattery @StockheadAU @Domaincomau @realestate_au Cheers! I see a number of larger agencies are now starting to require rentpay for tenants (not just optional). This is great as it not only works for renters but demonstrates that agencies also see the value (guaranteed rent on time etc). Let’s see what happens!

@cullyfornia @StockheadAU Rent.com.au as a platform missed a big opportunity when market cap increased to raise funds to further drive penetration of Rentpay. It's doing well, but still sub-scale. Suspect @Domaincomau or @realestate_au will realise how valuable this is in their hands.
