Anthony Joshua signed to fight Tyson Fury in 2021, but it didn't happen because Wilder's arbitration win forced Fury to fulfil the trilogy. Anthony Joshua signed to fight Deontay Wilder in 2024, but it now won't happen because Joseph Parker beat Wilder. AJ didn't 'duck' anyone.

@MichaelBensonn So many good fights here. I wouldn’t know who to pick to win it, but I think Loma could do it if he’s on point. I wouldn’t necessarily favour Garcia or Kambosos in any of those matchups, but they’d make it very interesting nonetheless. Haney vs Stevenson would be a great fight

@midoriyaEV He looked incredible tonight, Usyk is just different. I see people still saying Joshua wasn’t aggressive enough?? in the 9th round Joshua put his foot all the way on the gas to no avail, and was running on empty for the next 3 rounds. There’s really not much more he could’ve done

I had Usyk winning 115-113 in a solid but unspectacular fight. Joshua better than the first fight but not good enough tonight imo to get the win.

@Testipickle @chrisrobwill Usyk is top 2 greatest CW of all time, and moved up to become the unified HW champ. Usyk is P4P minimum no.2 and possibly my no.1 after Canelo’s loss. If AJ beat him it would be a remarkable achievement

I don’t think there’s much chance of it at all, but if Joshua does win tomorrow it’s pretty high on the list of great British victories and I won’t have anyone downplaying it.

Anthony Joshua has declined over the past four years. Probably the worst coached fighter of this era. A truely gifted & devastating combination puncher, coached to give up his strengths and box & move. Hopefully Robert Garcia can get AJ to unleash his offensive gifts… 🔥
