🚨Big 10 All-Breakout Team for the 2026-27 season. These are the five Big 10 players I think make a leap this season.

Xavier Muskateers- Chance Westry 15-5.5 UAB Tru Washington 11.9-4 Miami FL Filip Borovicanin 10.8-7.4 Jovan Milicevic 12.4-3.9 Mike Nwoko 13.4-5.9 LSU G/F Ruben Dominguez 10.2 PPG Texas A&M F Gabriel Pozzato Redshirt F Rolyns Aligbe 9.5-7.4 Southern Illinois G Kalek House F Nikos Chitkoudis 11.3-7.7 Robert Morris Westry & Washington are the new backcourt for Richard Pitino. Westry had an awesome year at UAB and is looking to keep that going at X. Washington is rejoining Pitino, he is a very good defender and can score it aswell. Dominguez will be a great spacer off the bench as an elite shooter. Freshman Kalek House was highly touted aswell. Borovicanin was granted eligibility which is huge as he had a good year last year and is a big time wing defender. Milicevic was great on offense but needs to bit better on D. Nwoko could be close to a double-double machine in the Big East. Aligbe & Chitkoudis both move up a level but sure give Nwoko quality bench minutes, both are kinda tweeners but both are good rebounders. Pozzato didn't play last year but was solid at Evansville the year prior. I like the backcourt of Westry & Washington with Dominguez fitting next to them. Milicevic, Borovicanin & Nwoko should provide really good stuff aswell. If they get bench production this team will be sneaky in the Big East

@TheFieldOf68 This is possibly worst group Maui has put together, ever! Arizona won’t even need to get off bench for first 3 min of each game

Georgia Bulldogs- Smurf Millender 12 PPG Blue Cain 13.1-5.1 Kanon Catchings 11.6-4.8 Kareem Stagg 4.8 PPG James Scott 3.9-4.6 Ole Miss G Freddie Dilione V 14 PPG Penn State F Brady Dunlap 7 PPG St Louis F Andrew Osasuyi 3.7-2.8 St Bonaventure G Donovan Williams FR Georgia brings back 3 very important players. Millender & Cain in the backcourt will be handed the keys. Both produced a ton last season. Along with Catchings who had a good 2nd season and is a guy you could see taking another step. Stagg is also back, he will be asked to do a lot more this season. He's a big body that could be an SEC breakout player. They bring James Scott in to protect the rim as he's a very solid defender & rebounder. He will share the 5 duties with Andrew Osasuyi who is another elite shot blocker. Dillone will provide elite microwave scoring off the bench. Dunlap is a sniper that can add great shooting off the bench. Georgia has a solid squad. Millender, Cain, & Catchings were all really good last season. If the 5 spot is solid and the bench scoring remains it could be very good team.

@BracketNky Agreed for sure the 1st round. Will be a great watch. I just want VCU since i don’t know how many great P5 schools they will see in the non-con

@KevoPosts Really like the starting 5, bench has some question marks but potential. At worst #7 preseason, but would have them higher

VCU isn’t on paper good team they are a good team they beat UNC in the tournament, return 6 guys who played significant minutes (including their star FR point guard & center) add in Blake Harper who will shine in the A-10 and Torey Alston who’s an athletic defensive freak. Plus 2 top 100 Freshman. That’s a legit roster BYU isn’t a top 20 team with that frontcourt unless the overseas guy is legit legit otherwise it’s super weak. I have VCU 25 & BYU 29 so it’s not like it’s a huge difference

#25 VCU Rams- Nyk Lewis 8.7-4.5 Brandon Jennings 8.5 PPG Blake Harper 7.7-3.5 Creighton Torey Alston 13.1-7.9 MTSU Lazar Djokovic 13.2-5.3 F Michael Belle 7.3-5 F Tyrell Ward 5.7 PPG G Ahmad Nowell 4.5 PPG F Stefan Plisnic Overseas G Nyle Ralph-Beyer 14.2 PPG Sacred Heart F Sammy Jackson FR F Collin Ross FR VCU has a young coaching star in Phil Martelli Jr and brings back a lot of a roster that made it to the Round of 32. Lewis, Jennings, & Djokovic are all starters who are back. Lewis had a great freshman year for the rams and will look to take another jump. Djokovic was the rams best player last year and will be a force inside again. The rams also bring back Belle, Ward, & Nowell who were their 7th-9th guys. So 6 guys back from the rotation with lots of experience. Then they added in Harper & Alston who will both start. Harper is a guy who shined at Howard and jumped up to Creighton and didn't quite have the best year, VCU feels like the perfect level for him and could be a star in the A-10. Alston is a high flyer who did well in his 2 years at MTSU. They also add sniper Ralph-Beyer, 4 star wings/forwards Jackson & Ross and a talented big Plisnic. Possibly 11 deep, Martelli has a really fun and loaded roster. With Djokovic, if Lewis & Jennings take another step and Harper gets back to what he can be, this team could be a deep tournament sleeper. I hope VCU gets some quality teams to schedule them in non-conference.
