@saybwala @aakash_rewari All institutions are losing credibility day by day. And labelling anyone who posts a minor discmfort against the system as toolkit or pakistani. Media is as responsible for this behavior as these internet trolls

Critical centrally administered examinations (NEET, CBSE etc...) and their results were among the few things that were trusted in a low trust country. If we don't fix issues and re-establish the trust - headed for a not so good outcome for the country.

Best thing I did for my mental health was to turn off news channels and block every hateful mf on this app. However the weird outcome is that I am far too dumb about forming any opinion on any social issues. But these recent few incidents have been appalling to say the least

I live in Hyderabad. EB bill is monthly cycle. 2.5k or so per month. AC runs 12 hours a day at 26, remaining 12 hours we have a water cooler running across the day. AC draws more power under 24 degrees I heard. We keep it at 26-28 and we sleep comfortably without feeling the heat.

Daikin quality has gone down the drain. OGeneral & Mitsubishi are still gold standard. Add panasonic as well. The most important investment you can make for reducing heat - blackout curtains. We live in Hyderabad in 40-42 degree dry heat which extends into midnight and early morning. We have panasonic AC. We keep it at 26 degrees and sleep comfortably.
mysoloOdyssey@Sub5_human

Daikin Mitsubishi and o general. Except these 3. Barely any other will work in our heat which will cross 50 soon in near future.

Holy shit, India is ranked 179 out of 180 countries in press freedom. Only North Korea is worse. And yet we call ourselves the world's largest democracy. If you can't ask questions, you're not a democracy. You're just a very large country with elections. #PressInIndia

If you are in your 20's and 30's, The question isn't "Will AI take my job." The question is "Will a person using AI take my job." If you understand this, you will make the necessary changes in your career at this stage. Upgrade your skills. This is the only way to be secure.

One of the most important outcomes of delimitation would have been correcting India’s deeply flawed urban representation. Since 1971, India has transformed. We have urbanised rapidly. Our cities now drive jobs, growth, innovation and aspirations. But our Parliament and State Assemblies still do not adequately reflect urban India. This is why our cities lack the political capital needed to improve quality of life, public transport, housing, infrastructure and livability. By stalling delimitation, the Opposition has not only done a disservice to women and to the interests of southern India. It has also done a grave disservice to millions of Indians living in our cities. Weak urban representation means weaker cities. Weaker cities mean poorer livability, slower growth and lost opportunities for India.
The Economist@TheEconomist

Why are India’s cities so chaotic? They have grown at a blistering pace, but lack proper political representation because the country has a lopsided electoral system. The Economist examines the problem and what can be done to fix it for our new column about India, Ashoka econ.st/42OMbu8

In 3 decades of trading and exporting, I have met 1000s of customers from all over the world. Some became like brothers. Some ran off with my money. But one man stands out above all. His name was Mustafa (from Egypt). And he was a criminal mind of the highest order: 🧵

@vinodchendhil So instead of fixing a broken thing you want to give an example of something that is more broken so that it makes the other thing look meek in comparison? Btw wrong analogy, blue collar workers get paid in shorter intervals.
