This is a criminal offence. Why are the water executives not in prison for doing it repeatedly? Weak Govetnment and a weak judiciary.

Literally just started discharging. Sadly, I can't stay, but I reckon in 30 minutes, and it will be spewing in. Downstream are barbel spawning gravels. Welcome to the river Wharfe. #sewage #pollution #rivers #dirtybusiness

"Channel 4’s Dirty Business is a clarion call to nationalise the water industry."
And that is the bit that terrorises government, the ostrich like refusal to deal with reality, the abused victim, Stockholm syndrome like obsession with not doing anything that might upset the bond markets, the inability to face up to the truth it's time we take the water industry back into public ownership.

Just as we were leaving @NorfolkWT Holme reserve, we spotted a Barn Owl hunting the marsh alongside the drive in. It’s distant - but so lovely to see.

@LBFlyawayhome This is so lovely!

Just in case any members of the @Hawkandowluk are travelling to London for the AGM today, you may want to ask the Trustees and CEO about the court case in the summer and ask if they have changed their policies. The judge said, ‘It was clear that Mr Blumfield (the CEO) was aiming to ultimately remove Mr Middleton from the business.
Dr McCulloch (the Chairman) had also formed the view, influenced by Mr Blumfield, that Mr Middleton must go. He wrote of needing to get the Board, “behind the direction of travel”.’
These are the same men who wrote in an email that they didn’t want Mr Middleton to ‘smell a rat’ when plotting to remove him.
It would be interesting to ask the Trustees why they endorsed and backed this behaviour?
If you want to read more background. It’s below.

@DeckhandAuthor @EnglishHeritage Mistakes can easily creep in when catalogues are produced working on early 19th c docs. Taxonomic classification has changed since the first catalogue was produced and birds of prey can be tricky to id.
English

@Bfbirdsofprey @EnglishHeritage That is curious. They don't know what is in their collection?

"Volunteers cleaning up the pellets at Camber Sands have described it as "the worst single incident" they have encountered."
I'm going to be down on the south coast this weekend.
Perhaps the minister responsible Emma Hardy might like to join me at Camber Sands on Saturday morning to help with the clean up, we can discuss how best to reprimand Southern Water instead of patting them on the head like some naughty little school boy?
