This post is a prime example of hostile narrative engineering. Pitting the civil administration against the security forces is a known tactic to erode public trust in both institutions in #Manipur.

Major General Shyam Shrivastava says, “We are saying that there is still time... a completely impartial investigation should be conducted. If a fair investigation is not possible here, then it should be carried out elsewhere. A second post-mortem should be conducted. If things continue like this here, then the victim should get justice by taking the matter to another place, and a proper investigation should be conducted. Whatever facts emerge from it should be acted upon accordingly. Today, we will meet Governor, CM, and DGP.” (Full video available on PTI Videos - ptivideos.com)

This is why Adani, after all the nonsense - violating every rule, taking risks that feel like death threat, when doing business in India Absorbing political and geopolitical risk even with the US, trying to behave like Huawei, this name is a strategic asset for India after L&T, in my view as of now Adani does real business, the kind of business a conglomerate should be doing, operating in sensitive sectors where capex is essential and scale is non-negotiable. Adani goes into capex-intensive, high-regulatory zones and on top of that takes political risk. But now, Adani is slowly building ease with political clients, and that will not be a big issue in the future. The amount of capex Adani has done in the ports business alone will make it harder for anybody to crack that moat. Adani is building the next Reliance for the future generation, his own legacy and Adani Ports is already moving into new segments if you read the recent filings Adani Ports crossed 500 million tonnes of cargo in FY26, handles 27% of India port volumes, and grew revenue 25% to ₹38,736 crore. The marine business alone grew 134% with 136 vessels now deployed globally. Logistics revenue rose 55%. This is not a port company anymore. It is a full supply chain operator covering ports, trucking, freight, rail, and offshore marine services. The capex moat Adani has built here over 15 years makes it nearly impossible for any new entrant to compete at this scale. Adani takes risks no other Indian conglomerate touches, High capex sectors, long gestation periods, deep regulatory exposure, and political heat that would scare off most boardrooms. That is what makes this group the closest thing India has to a Huawei or a Samsung in national importance. Vizhinjam port hit 100% utilization in nine months. APSEZ signed the IMEC corridor deal with Marseille Fos, connecting Mundra directly into Europe, Now its marine arm Astro Offshore is entering European subsea operations with Oceaneering, committing $1.36bn through FY31. T his group builds where nobody else will go. The group plans ₹2 lakh crore capex every year for the next five years, Port capacity will double from 600 to 1,200 MMTPA by 2030. Renewable target is 50 GW. Airport capacity goes from 100m passengers to 200m. The debt to equity on Adani Ports sits at 0.66 with ROCE at 14.1%, which is clean for this level of capex intensity, i feel. India needs builders who will eat the risk in ports, energy, airports, and defence. After L&T, Adani is the only group with the hunger and the balance sheet to do it at country scale.
Diva Jain@DivaJain2

Adani was accused of violating US sanctions 32 times in buying Iranian gas. Yes his corporate governance is garbage, but his risk taking appetite is an asset for India.

India raised fuel prices by ₹3 per litre on May 15, the second hike in a week. Hormuz has been shut for 80 days now. India imports 90% of its crude, and half of that used to flow through that strait, Forex reserves dropped $40bn in four weeks, from $728bn in February to $690bn by May 1. The rupee fell past 96 to the dollar. OMCs are losing ₹1,000 crore a day, This is not a price shock, This is the cost of buying your entire energy supply from a war zone. FMCG companies are already cutting pack sizes instead of printing higher MRPs. Dabur is facing 10% input cost inflation, HUL is trimming sachets, Parle reduced Parle-G weight. The ₹5 and ₹10 price points are untouchable in rural India because purchases run on daily wages. So brands quietly give you less product for the same coin. Every barrel above $100 does not just raise petrol prices, It raises polymer costs, freight bills, fertiliser prices, and packaging, Inflation enters through the factory gate and exits through the kitchen. India current account deficit may double to 2.5% of GDP this year perhaps, trade deficit hit a record $28.4bn in April, Exports grew 13.8% but imports jumped faster, pulled up by oil and coal. The fiscal deficit target of 4.3% is now under real threat, could touch 5% if crude stays above $100. But the deeper number is this. India is 65% energy independent as per report in reality it just 40% approx, That remaining gap decides the rupee, the bond yield, the subsidy bill, and the growth forecast. Energy sovereignty is not a policy goal, It is the balance sheet. India Gas subsidies have been effectively withdrawn & reduce significantly, There are ground-level reports that petrol pumps are now operating on daily quotas - capped dispensing, rationed supply. Strategic petroleum reserves are nearly depleted. Commercial inventories are drawing down fast. The global energy supply chain has not just tightened, it has structurally broken. But consumption has not fallen. Demand is fully intact. That mismatch is what makes this dangerous. Every country is absorbing this differently. Some are scrambling for fertiliser. Some are rationing power. India is bleeding dollars. Liquidity and bond market pressure. The dollar outflow to pay for expensive crude is not just hitting forex reserves. It is pulling liquidity out of the domestic financial system. Less liquidity means tighter credit, higher short-term rates, and pressure on bond yields. When markets price in a wider fiscal deficit - which they will if crude stays here - government borrowing costs rise. That feeds back into the deficit itself. It is a loop that tightens the longer oil stays elevated, The China import problem is separate and compounding. India's energy bill is one drain. The goods import bill from China is another. Electronics, chemicals, active pharmaceutical ingredients, industrial intermediates, capital equipment - all flowing in, all now more expensive in rupee terms because of the currency depreciation. Manufacturing capacity in India will meaningfully improve over the next five years. PLI schemes and China+1 diversification are real and will eventually reduce this dependence. But that is a five-year arc. Right now, the import bill is here and growing. The export gap is the real bottleneck. Exports are growing but not fast enough to offset the import surge. Shipping costs alone have added $80 billion in annual burden - before you even count the actual commodity import bill. India's energy independence push is real but incomplete. If energy prices do not fall, the pain reprices everything downstream - factory input costs, household budgets, government subsidy burdens, infrastructure spending capacity. End the war. That is the only near-term pressure relief valve. If that does not happen, prepare for second-order effects in the long term

India went from ₹3,532 crore in lithium imports in FY18 to ₹37,624 crore in 11 months of FY26, that is a 10x jump in 8 years ACC PLI scheme promised 50 GWh of domestic cell manufacturing by 2025. Delivered 1.4 GWh, which is 2.8% of target, Only Ola Electric has a working line. Reliance and Rajesh Exports have not started. India is building an entire EV transition on top of a supply chain that runs through China, The oil import bill now has a younger sibling. China makes over 80% of the world lithium ion cells, controls 90% of graphite processing, and owns most cobalt and lithium refining globally. India imports close to 100% of its cells from this same chain, J&K lithium deposit that made headlines in 2023 went to auction twice. Zero bids both times. Private companies tested the samples independently and walked away, The Rajasthan deposits are still at early exploration. So the grand critical minerals plan exists mostly on paper while the import bill compounds at 48% a year. EV penetration at 8.5% means India is still early in the adoption curve, Demand will only grow from here, But demand without domestic supply just means the forex pressure shifts from crude oil to battery materials. The PLI scheme gave firms two years to invest and build, Most missed every milestone, China is now restricting exports of lithium processing technology and cathode manufacturing know how. India had a window to build its own refining and cell capacity while Chinese tech was still available, That window is closing and nobody in Delhi seems to be in a hurry about it. this is new import bill growing rapidly :)

Stop Hindu Hate Advocacy Network (SHHAN)
Indians still don’t realise how much sections of the West hate India’s rise. 2014: NYT cartoon mocked India’s “budget” ISRO Mars mission. India has now reached the far side of the Moon. 2015: Australian cartoon showed Indians eating solar panels. India is now one of the world’s largest solar markets. 2015: NYT depicted India as an elephant blocking the Paris Climate Summit train. India in 2025 has achieved its 50% non-fossil fuel power capacity target — 5 yrs ahead of schedule. 2023: German magazine Der Spiegel showed Indians sitting on top of a train. 98%+ of Indian railways are now electrified. 2026: Norway’s largest newspaper Aftenposten draws PM Modi ji as a snake charmer. India is rapidly rising as a global AI powerhouse. Yet nothing has changed in 12 years. Racism is alive and kicking!

Shocking. Racist. Derogatory. Norway’s largest broadsheet newspaper Aftenposten brazens it out with a shocking cartoon depicting Indian PM @narendramodi as a Snake Charmer with the headline: “A sneaky and slightly annoying man”. They can’t digest India’s rise and success. Pity!

This anti-India propaganda from "propagandius" below is not organic. This is being organized. We will see a lot more of it orchestrated and flood social media. X is nothing, Meta platforms will be used the most. The idea is to make Indians hate themselves. And make them more receptive to the instigation for anarchy after sabotages and fake reports of "scam". As I said, MIB and MeiTY have to get ready to fight this war for India this time. India cannot be apathetic to SM & media psyops to act in knee-jerk manner only when things get out of hand.

An Indian doctor has accused Vietnam Airlines staff of racial profiling and humiliation while boarding a business class flight from Hanoi to Delhi. According to Dr. Abhay Daga, staff repeatedly questioned whether his family “really” had business class tickets, allegedly mocking and profiling them instead of simply checking boarding passes. Indians are too often stereotyped globally based on appearance, and such behaviour deserves to be called out. Basic dignity and respect should not depend on race or nationality.
