@C19thNerd Tracking motifs such as light and dark imagery, religious imagery, discussion the structure - moments of love always bookended with moments of violence, Mercutio is a great character to focus on for challenge, ways he isn’t just comic relief etc 😊

TwitFam, I have a really, really good year 9 class. We’re doing Romeo&Juliet. I want to stretch them - they are capable of GCSE-level work, but I don’t just want to throw essays at them. Anyone got anything really good? Macbeth is more my area of expertise.
