@damonbwfc Yes! I left that off, I do that too. And if it’s okay with the pupil I’ll show any great work under the visualiser and explain why it’s great.
How to “mark” 28 books in 27 minutes.
1. Read them all.
2. Make notes (www, ebi, common grammar & spelling errors) as you go.
3. Type notes up on ppt slide & focus DIRT tasks on areas that need improvement.
Done.
I created this KS4 resource because I wanted to model how *most* quotations can be linked to different themes. I'm a bit late sharing now 🫠
Thank you, @SPryke2@teachals for the bibles you created! I'm being brave sharing my 1st resource! @Team_English1
I am looking for an original article on the Stephen Lawrence case. Would anyone know where to find one? We are teaching Noughts and Crosses and I thought that would be interesting @Team_English1@shadylady222@engteacher2016@BickertonMiss
Are we still not talking about the level of work required for Spoken Language (from students and staff) in order to provide a sample of 30 students on video, all for an accreditation which has no bearing on their final grade?
Grand.

It was fantastic to watch but was possible because of the strong culture 👌
Finished my first term at a new school as role as HOD of English. I have enjoyed it. Now need the half term to do all of my marking and prep for next term @Team_English1
Huge Ofsted focus from their visit last week was on the reading culture across the school and how it is promoted by all 🎯 I've created a 'September Ready' guide for just that 📖
Has anyone got something like a murder mystery or an Escape room/treasure hunt type activity? I need to arrange something for next week that is fun! Students will have 2 hours (one group will only have 1 hour 30 minutes) @Team_English1@FunkyPedagogy@MrsB_English_
Hi. I am going to have a boy from the Ukraine join my Year 7 class. He does not speak any English. Has anyone got any resources so that I can put a booklet together for him to work through? Obviously it needs to be very simple stuff. @Team_English1@MrsB_English_
