Iran just fired cruise missiles at US military ships during a declared humanitarian operation to free commercial vessels. That is the cleanest justification for coalition action any president could ask for.
The call to London, Paris, Canberra, Tokyo, Seoul, Riyadh is simple: they attacked our ships while we were rescuing yours. Are you in or are you out.
Whether more allies join or stay on the fence will determine how effective Trump's legal architecture was. He framed this as a humanitarian operation for a reason.

Why should anyone trust him to manage a city when he couldn't manage his own checkbook?
