@BigBossCard @casualfanatic79 @DrClownPhD Yes it is. Which makes me doubt he ever worked on them or even seen one up close.
English

@Douglasddecker @casualfanatic79 @DrClownPhD Well, I didn’t wanna be nasty, but my father flew one for 25 years so I knew that’s exactly what it was.
English

@DrClownPhD I’ve worked on real C-17s back in my AMC daze… ctrl-alt-delete was the typical fix for any avionics discrepancies on that thing! This definitely brings back fond memories of the real thing!

English

@BiggestBiscuit I just didn't envision you dropping down to Fireball, ever 😂
English

@BigBossCard Relax, Tom. It's a party. Lower your expectations!
Plenty of time for bourbon neat, trust me.

@jlightsy7 @BigBossCard He rushed the metal detector and shot and a Secret Service agent. I imagine he died of sudden acute lead poisoning.
English

@jlightsy7 Big difference! Horrible to be sure, but this happened at the Washington Hilton. Oddly enough, this is where Ronald Reagan was shot 40+ years ago.

@LuckyMcGee I’m glad you got some comfort, friends and family are very important

It actually did fix me. 🥲
I have been in Oklahoma for a month now, and I have been so busy and buried in this renovation project and unpacking, etc., and trying to make a home out of this place, that until today, I hadn’t quite realized just how disconnected I’ve been feeling, not knowing anybody, or having any community connections, etc. 🫥
Since I had to go to OKC anyway for my car appointment, I decided to shoot a text message to the only people I know in OK (who happen to live near OKC) to see if they wanted to meet up for lunch after my car appointment. It was short notice, and they live in a different town, so I figured it was a long shot, but sent the message anyway.
I’ve known them for over 12 years from my time in Williston, and hadn’t seen them since the wedding of our mutual friends in Texas last year.
They were super excited to hear from me, and made the drive into OKC to meet up, and so I had a wonderful lunch with an old friend, and it felt so lovely to feel “connected” again. It felt like “home.” 🥹🤍 I needed that.
I just got back to my house, and somehow just being able to visit with and hug an old friend today helped me to feel “grounded” again. 🙏🏼
Getting back to work feeling a little less lost and alone out here on my own in this strange place. ☺️💕

I’ve decided I’m on a crusade to get @DanIssel44 on @allthesmokeprod.
I think an episode w/ some ABA flair would be fantastic.

"After the Rangers game, our worst nightmare happened: the elevator to Penn Station wasn’t working.
For most people, that’s an inconvenience. For us, it meant we were completely stuck.
My son Chris is in a 350 lb wheelchair. Without an elevator, there was no way down. No backup plan. No easy solution. Just a crowded, overwhelming situation with no clear way forward.
We stood there, unsure of what to do next.
And then we met Officer Mears.
And everything changed.
He didn’t just point us in a direction or give us instructions. He didn’t rush us or treat us like just another situation to manage.
He stepped in fully.
He personally walked with us—block after block—searching until we finally found a working elevator inside Kmart. He stayed with us the entire time, making sure we were okay, never once making us feel like a burden.
But he didn’t stop there.
He escorted us all the way to the LIRR, went ahead to find out our track before the rush of commuters even knew, brought us down safely, and set up the ramp so Chris could board the train without being overwhelmed by the crowd.
He thought of everything.
Every step of the way, he made sure my son was safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity.
Along the way, he shared that he had worked with people with disabilities for six years before becoming a police officer.
And you could feel it.
His patience.
His awareness.
His kindness.
It wasn’t just training—it was heart.
In a moment that felt stressful and overwhelming, he gave us calm. He gave us help. He gave us reassurance that we weren’t alone.
That night, he didn’t just help us get to a train.
He moved a mountain.
Officer Mears—thank you for seeing us, for walking beside us when we needed it most, and for showing what true compassion looks like in action.
You reminded us that even in difficult moments, there are still people out there who care deeply… and that makes all the difference."

@JoePompliano There is zero way they are building a terminal that big. Absolute bullshit.
English

Everyone talks about 1,500+ private jets visiting Augusta for the Masters, but NetJets is the best example of how meaningful this week is for operators.
After seeing a huge increase in demand over the last few years — NetJets operated 430 Masters flights in 2024, 580 in 2025, and 775 this year — the company is building a brand-new 432,000-square-foot terminal at Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) that will be used exclusively for NetJets customers.
That means NetJets is likely spending $50 million to $100 million on a single terminal that will be built almost entirely for one week of demand.
Crazy.

@BiggestBiscuit Ziegler is a tool. He was run out of Louisville for a reason.
