This is very simple. Manchester City have a contract with a Coach company to provide these particular Vanhool Coaches and full time drivers.
The coaches would have set off a few days prior and more than likely double manned to deal with drivers hours. On the Ferry, across to Calais/Bilbao/Santander 🇪🇸 then driven to Madrid Airport where the players would have flown into. More than likely from Manchester Airport, I can categorically say the players wouldn’t have been on board the Coach that whole time no matter how nice those Coaches are.
For the Champions League it’s all show and there really isn’t a budget when it comes to these things. I run a Coach company for almost 10 years and got to know a few operators who had Championship & Premier League club contracts - they were laughing quite frankly.
@MattTakeThree 😂
Not quite…
6’2” & 20 odd stone.
But, it’s a top spec thing. Leather, auto etc.
agricultural is a good descriptor.
Doesn’t tow well either, tail wags the dog a good bit.
It might be one of the least inspiring cars ever conceived, but actually there's an honesty about it that I secretly admire, but Sarah's just ordered a new Frontera. Ridiculous lease deal - £200 down and £200pm for 24 months. That's not even covering the depreciation.
@MattTakeThree If they weren’t so bloody expensive now, would love a 3 door Mg 1300.
Or
How good would one of these look - if it got what Retropower are doing to the 2 Allegros?
😊
