🚨 Darius Dewayne Hall, 18, has been arrested and charged with Capital Murder, evading, and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the killing of Marietta Allison in The Heights this weekend.
After Marietta parked her car and walked toward a friend’s house, she was allegedly robbed and killed. Her car was then stolen, leading police on a chase that ended in a crash. Hall allegedly barricaded himself for several hours before eventually being taken into custody.
He is currently in the Harris County Jail. Prosecutors have requested an 11D hearing in District Court 496 with Judge Dan Simons, where they will argue to keep him in jail without bond while the case is pending. Hall is scheduled to return to court tomorrow morning, March 9, 2026.
Marietta Allison never gets another tomorrow. Keeping the man accused of killing her behind bars while this case moves through the courts should be the bare minimum for justice. This is why we passed #Prop3
