Recently I have been criticized by a handful of Ukrainians, namely @cryptodrftng for attending podcasts and supporting organizations she considers "pro-Russian". It's not the first time she has criticized me - about a year ago when I was doing a Twitter Space about #vatniksoup, I stated that I "try to steer away from drama, as it often kills progress," a statement I still support. I have no problem having discussions with people I may disagree with, it's called a dialogue. But one should also listen to what I actually say in these podcasts, Spaces, etc. I always condemn Russia, its fifth column, fringe elements from the far-left and the far-right, terrorism, etc. And I always state my support for Ukraine and its brave defenders. During the last year, I have supported numerous foreign and Ukrainian fundraisers like @MriyaReport, @BackAndAlive, @FinnishRy, @dzygaspaw and various crowdfunding efforts done by individuals. I have also exposed hundreds of pro-Kremlin propagandists. We have recently started to campaign #ReapersForUkraine together with Ukrainian charities. I may never equal the amount you have raised to help Ukraine, but I do my best to help Ukraine every day. And I do it for free in addition to my day job. But if the majority of Ukrainians feel that I am doing Ukraine more harm than good, I will stop.
