All these videos and photos were taken by Israelis who should have been inside shelters. Compared to the 12 Day War, there is a lot less damage & casualties, so people aren't taking the threat seriously & are endangering themselves.

Haven't seen this kind of footage of a non-cluster impact in a while. An Iranian ballistic missile directly hit a house in Dimona. Throughout the day, Iran has focused most of their launches on this region, likely as retaliation for the strikes on the Natanz enrichment facility.

What the headlines missed: every facility struck was already scheduled for demolition or redevelopment.
-Ras Laffan phased out for North Field expansion, plan filed 2020.
-Ras Tanura had a $2.6B modernization filed in 2019.
-Jebel Ali mid-demolition for luxury redevelopment. The “Iranian strikes” kept landing exactly where the bulldozers were already going…
Then look at Iraq. The Development Road — $17B corridor bypassing Hormuz, outside every U.S. financial chokepoint, with Chinese engineering and investment throughout. Al Faw/Basra. Baghdad. Mosul. Erbil. Struck node by node before it could become operational.
The only military air presence tracked consistently over every strike corridor was American.
Just enough damage to knock competing infrastructure offline. U.S. LNG steps into the gap. The competing corridor is gone before it opens. Everyone covering this is somehow not seeing any of it.
This isn’t a war. It’s a restructuring. And the invoice was already written.

My reading of President Trump's point regarding Hormuz, that it isn’t as important for the US as it is for the rest of the world, is mostly that it is a way to exert pressure on other countries to step in.
It is true that oil flow from Hormuz is not needed by the US in terms of barrels, since the US is the world’s largest producer. However, the oil market is largely unified, so prices will still affect American consumers. That is why he signaled that the US will help, but more from the back than from the front as it appears.
What is needed now is a unified action plan. If the US fully ends operations, it is likely Iran will continue its thuggish practices in the Strait; the opposite is also possible. But we cannot rely on wishful thinking. The Strait of Hormuz is not a regional issue, it is a global one, and it requires global action.

Those calling for more revolutions and the effective breakup of Egypt need to get their brains examined. Those who are offended by the Shaykh performing tawassul via the Prophet’s ﷺ family , Ali, Fatimah, and their children (peace be upon them all), need to get their hearts examined. Love for the Prophet ﷺ’s Household has been a sign of orthodox Sunni Islam since the beginning.
