@simonhemsworth @tehTrunk An agent worth their salt doesn’t sell Spurs to their client as a “place to come and be mediocre”. They clearly all use a club like Spurs to get their client a potential payday elsewhere. Our recruitment has just been poor recently, so no decent club needs to buy our players!

@tehTrunk This is a good listen but disagree with some of it. For example I don’t think players see Spurs as a ‘stepping stone’ anymore. That would be fine if so. They see it as a big name club where you can settle into mediocrity.

Don’t really agree with this. He was given a squad with 12 fit players that hadn’t won in 2 months. He made huge tactical errors in his first few games but there was noticeable improvements in his final 4 games
