$LTC for those who think it will never reach its all time high again, I understand why it feels that way, because long periods of slow price action and fading attention naturally make it seem like the opportunity has passed and will not return. But markets do not move based on what feels obvious in the present, they move when expectations are low, positioning is light, and most participants have already mentally moved on. Litecoin does not need universal belief or constant hype to move higher, it only needs a shift in conditions where demand returns while supply has already been exhausted during phases like this. The reality is that doubt always feels rational near extended drawdowns, because the mind projects the current environment forward as if nothing will change. That is exactly why markets are able to move the way they do, because they tend to resolve in the opposite direction of what feels most certain at the time.

Peter asks if money’s value is gonna drop a ton and if we are heading post-capitalist. Elon still stands on his prediction and POV that money will stop being relevant at some point in the future, something like an Iain Banks Culture sort of future. That AI won’t use human currency, but rather care about power and mass, wattage and tonnage. AI won’t care about human currency, so gold, silver, crypto, fiat, and many things we consider as money in a way will be useless for the exchange of value. I love Peter’s joke as fate loves irony. He says to Elon, "Isn’t it ironic that as you become a trillionaire, money becomes irrelevant?" I’m still thinking about what will be used as an exchange for goods and services. Because X is setting up their own financial system, so if money becomes irrelevant, why do this, or this future is very, very far away, like 2200.

i have such ambivalent feelings towards ai i love using it, i love building stuff with it, it's a ton of fun to create things quickly and iterate quickly to make what i like at the same time, i feel like it ultimately cheapens the human experience and destroys human purpose

When in a highly emotional state from the market, instead of letting it consume you, tap into it. Understand it. When you're prone to being driven by emotions and the market is still an avenue for heightening them, understand that those moments are not isolated events, you're tapping into the collective consciousness of the majority of market participants. If you feel a certain way in that moment, it's likely 90+ of participants do also. These moments are extremely uncomfortable to combat and think alternatively. However, by doing so, you will find that the biggest breakthroughs will follow by understanding what it is you're feeling in that moment and why you shouldn't. Markets are not complex because you're missing special formulas, patterns, mathematics, indicators, strategies etc... They're complex because they intelligently tap into human nature and instinct. What's logical in the real world and practice doesn't equate to the same logic in the markets. It's really an ongoing internal battle if anything. A test of fighting the urge to follow and act out of instinct. How well are you able to control your thoughts? The emotions that follow? The urgency to act on them? The market is nothing more than a mechanism that intends to make you feel, think and act a particular way. More often than not an undesirable outcome has come from acting on impulse. The market triggers the instinct, it is then acted upon impulsively. One of the most effective forms of journalling requires zero trades to be taken. 1. Simply sit and watch the charts 2. Be observant of your thoughts and emotions through each candle development (make a note of this) 3. Observe the same as you see a setup forming (make a note of this) 4. Do not take the setup (most cannot go beyond this stage because of FOMO, another instinct it will naturally teach you to combat) 5. Watch the setup play out 6. Monitor how you feel throughout and make a note, alongside the outcome of the setup 7. Repeat 50-100x Eventually you will have enough data to gauge how you felt emotionally prior to every win and loss. This is more impactful than the strategy itself, because the reality is if you were plagued by emotions your strategy is made redundant anyway. It's likely you felt and thought a particular way for the winners and it differed from how you felt and thought for the losers. Those who see the greatest results have successfully figured out how to filter the information correctly. Your job is to develop the correct mental filtration system. This is why degrees and everything else people believe would give them an initial advantage are useless for trading. A piece of paper doesn't give you any edge, real experience on the battlefield does. It's like playing call of duty and thinking that will benefit you in a real war. In essence, feeling the emotion isn't the problem, it's inevitable. Letting it control and consume you is the problem.
