@thomasforth Population 20km radius in this part of Wales (Elenydd) is the only sub 10k I've found in Wales or England. Any other takers (excluding Scotland) for lowest density?

Which city do you think has the highest population within 20km. San Francisco, Manchester, Brussels, or Amsterdam?

Come along to the levelling up consultation at the Kirkstall Abbey Deli Market 1st May 12-3 and see the council's draft bid. How much of the park should be car park? 🚗🚐🚙🚚🚙🚐🚘🚙🚐 How else are you supposed to get there 🤔 #Kirkstall @A65Travel @OurFutureLeeds @CityPossible

@davidflatman We got some magnetic clip on perspex secondary glazing that you genuinely don't notice, definitely notice less noise and draughts extraglaze.co.uk

I have draughty old sash windows at home that I’m not allowed to replace. In winter the house was probably dangerously cold. Does anybody know of any decent, modern solutions/techniques that I could look at? (Don’t want secondary glazing though as don’t love the look). Ta x

Revealed: the energy secretary met oil bosses for dinner days after COP26 to encourage them to keep drilling in the North Sea The meeting aimed to reassure industry the government wants oil & gas investment, despite pledges to move away from fossil fuels thetimes.co.uk/article/kwasi-…

A British Prime Minister using his office to criticise the verdict of an English jury. Crude Culture War sabre rattling unashamedly deployed as an obvious distraction from the scandal of the Downing Street flat. Oh, and here's a black woman to hate.

@PaulChatterton9 Although I kind of agree with you, I really don't think we should be attacking parents or dismissing their reasons for driving Our system encourages driving and parking is a byproduct Schools weren't built to accommodate so many cars so neighbouring streets get jammed

The lengths that we have to go through to keep kids safe. The amazing thing is that its parents not even keeping their own kids safe by driving near schools. What price convenience? Wait for the barrage of responses.... I have to park outside school because a, b ,c...

To reduce disruption to offices at Airedale House and nearby businesses we will be undertaking piling works this weekend in Zone 12 #Kirkstall We will not be using an impact hammer over the weekend, which will significantly decrease noise levels for residents #Leeds #Flooding

@jimmoran @PeopleofLeeds We've also done it to reduce plastic Not sure about any greenhouse gas improvement, but most milk floats are electric, which is good IMO I'm not convinced most plastic is actually recycled, just shipped overseas and burnt most likely

@PeopleofLeeds Yes, it reduces plastic, but even that article seems to suggest there’s no carbon impact of transporting heavy glass bottles door to door and sterilising them, versus recycling and reusing plastic. I’m just questioning if it’s as green as it’s viewed to be.

We started to get our milk delivered last year - it's great and an easy green thing to do tbh. Who do you use for yours? Have you switched?

@LowimpactOrg @zero_stevie @PaulChatterton9 There are tons of issues with the charging network, but I'm confused what the problem is here My experience of charging is generally a positive one and most negativity I see tends to come from non EV drivers @PaulChatterton9 I'd like to understand your POV?

@LowimpactOrg @zero_stevie @PaulChatterton9 I don't think I've ever actually done this though, I use zapmap which tells me which chargers are compatible with my car. The chargers here both look like type 2 to me but most non Tesla drivers know they can't use Tesla network so I still don't see what the issue is 🤷‍♂️

And the incompatibility continues..... We need public coordination not private fragmentation

@zero_stevie @PaulChatterton9 Is that his point though? I often turn up to charge and find another car charging and either have to wait or go elsewhere, so having more chargers is surely better?

@BigWeeEv @PaulChatterton9 The point is that it’s incredibly wasteful (materials, space etc.) to have two chargers when one could be sufficient.
