עיריית האקני (שכונה בלונדון) החליטה לבחון מחדש את מעמדה כ״עיר תאומה״ של חיפה. מבקשים מראש עיריית חיפה להתייחס עד… ל7 באוקטובר.

Gaza is the greatest moral test of our generation. Even the most moronic (ex-)politician occasionally gets it right once in a while. The number of people who failed this test across the Western world is countless. Gaza - a small slab of land governed for decades by an Islamic death cult that funnelled billions in aid and charitable donations into building the most elaborate urban war machine in modern history. The West failed to acknowledge this reality. Gaza - where insane wealth and luxury existed alongside poverty and hardship, all within easy reach of the outside world’s cameras, yet only the misery was ever shown. The West failed to acknowledge this reality. Gaza - where children were forced to dig tunnels, indoctrinated to become martyrs for Allah, and taught to seek “liberation by any means necessary.” The West failed to acknowledge this reality. Gaza - whose elected government, with the support of many of its citizens, carried out one of the most organised, calculated, sadistic, and brutal mass terror attacks on a sovereign neighbour in modern times. The West failed to acknowledge this reality. Gaza - where uncritical acceptance of “facts” and figures supplied by a jihadi terrorist organisation became the foundation for statements by politicians, major world leaders, the UN, NGOs, charities, academic papers, and the person on the street. The West failed to acknowledge this reality. Gaza - governed by genocidal zealots and an ideology that despises the West, will now form part of the West’s reward for its failures: official statehood. The West failed to acknowledge this reality. Gaza - where all of the above still happens and will continue to happen. The West still fails to acknowledge this reality. Gaza is the greatest moral test of our generation. Yet those who believe they passed it with flying colours are precisely those who have failed it most miserably.

This isn’t how I imagined ending the season. Not with West Ham. Not with the Czech Republic. And certainly not with an injury. I’m sorry we couldn’t give our fans the moments and results you deserved. That hurts me more than anything. The good thing about football is that there’s always another challenge waiting. A new season is almost here, bringing a new opportunity to put things right. For 12 years as a professional, I’ve been lucky enough to avoid a serious injury. Now I have to face a challenge I haven’t faced before. But everyone who knows me knows one thing. I never give up! This injury doesn’t change my mindset. If anything, it makes me even more determined. I’ll use these next few weeks/months to work, recover and come back stronger. As a player, as a teammate and as a person. Since the season ended, I’ve only had one thing on my mind. West Ham United. This club means so much to me and I’m ready to do everything I can in helping get it back to where it belongs; to the English Premier League. For the immediate future, I’ll support the boys off the pitch whilst I rehabilitate. Then once back, I’ll give everything I have on the pitch, fighting alongside the boys once again. COYI! As for the international team, I need some time to think about my future. I’m deeply disappointed with how our World Cup campaign ended. I know we are capable of much more in every aspect than we showed, and that’s one of the biggest reasons why this disappointment is so difficult to accept. Representing the Czech Republic has always been the greatest honour of my career. That’s why I don’t want to make any decision in the heat of the moment. I’ll take the time to reflect and decide what’s best for everyone. One thing is certain. I’ll be back. Stronger. Hungrier. More determined than ever. Thank you for standing by me through everything. Your support means more than words can say. ❤️

Kelly cancer communiqué. First off, forgive me for the month-long radio silence. I've not been jn great shape. I'll explain all here; not for drama, or sympathy, but cos I said from the start I'd be honest. And, yes, I've bought a blue tick; so much things to say right now...
