@ItsKiwiVT_ Way late to this, so not sure it matters, but Bikubot supports linux (as well as Windows and Mac)! :D

The bad thing about self hosting is that all depends on me lol. For example bikubot doesn't support linux, so if some solutions don't work out I'll have to port bikubot's funcs over to Streamerbot... Which doesn't have a linux release either, but they still support it.

I forgot to announce this. There is no schedule bc I'm trying to fix my setup. I was forced (bc i'm a dumbass) to make the switch to Linux, so now I'm trying to duct-tape everything back together. Most of the work is done, but putting it together and testing will be hard. 1/?

Please support artist and other creative people out there doing real creative work, while having to watch their work getting stolen without permission or credit. And there is so many tools out there that allows YOU to be creative to without using genAI.

Meld was high on the list of things I wanted to add support for in Bikubot as it looked like a really cool alternative for OBS, that is no longer true as it now has the same problem as any product that uses GenAI.

You all asked, so I’m finally launching a company. I’m starting with what I perceive to be the biggest issue for creators, agencies, vendors, publishers, everyone: Sponsorships. To this day, I have not seen a single solution or tool that offers creators good opportunities while also doing right by the sponsors – I’ve been cooking on something to solve exactly that. I’ll write a wall of text with more details later, but here’s my tldr: - I’ve been secretly building a custom software platform since last year - I’m acquiring an existing sponsorship company that I’ve been working with and merging it with my software platform - We’re still in pre-alpha, but we’ve already successfully paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars to creators I was avoiding having to put my corporate hat on again, but as we saw with the Dumpster Fire of 2025, the industry needs better systems and actual oversight. My hope is for creators to feel safe taking sponsorship opportunities whether they’re independent or part of an agency. This isn’t just for creators. If you’re a publisher or studio looking to find the creators and communities that would love your games the most, these tools are for you too! The publishers we’re already working with love what we’re doing. So much so that we’re now the exclusive vendor for Koei Tecmo America (the folks who did Nioh, Ninja Gaiden, Dynasty Warrior, etc..) and have led tons of campaigns for others. Overall we’ve already found great success for creators, so we’ll simply keep connecting our publishers to the right people and try to make 2026 better for all of us. Oh yeah, and between the last update and this there was also a bigger bugfix update, mostly to do with better syncing between the bot and twitch channel points. But also removing SSML from the chatbox feature and improvement to the mascot feature.

‼️Update‼️ You can now connect Bikubot to things like Warudo and VNyan or your own custom creation. With the new Websocket client in Bikubot, you can now send and receive messages to/from other programs, allowing a new level of creativity and synchronization.

Twitch Partner Front Page Updates - Partners can now seemingly apply every month (they have removed all reference to the 90-day cooldown). - No longer require 50+ CCV to apply. - No Multistreaming allowed while on Front Page.

The new system of focusing on smaller scope updates are so far working good, would not say I am up to full speed yet, but it's progress :D

‼️Update‼️ Finally take control of where a command/trigger can be in a chat message, they no longer have to be at the start of a message. Also if you have the know-how, regex is now supported!

Learning some things with me, my ADD diagnosis and work on Bikubot. Forcing myself to work on one thing hinders me. My brain surges with ideas and loses focus. Trying to add too many things into one update overwhelms me. Allow myself to work on other ideas, try smaller scopes.
