@ZLloyd75880 @KEdge23 Totally agree but I think you’ll find it was more like 20,000 Police who got the push when Theresa May was Home Secretary. Then they had the cheek to boast they were going to increase the police force by 20,000 on the run up to the last general election! 🙄🙄🙄
English

@KEdge23 These were the cunts that axed 10000 police safer what?. Bullshit lier this shit show badenoch has one agenda to rip you all of again 14 years of there shit fucked this country there no longer a credible government option there con artists
English

@joymorrissey How about opening your eyes and seeing the real reason for the hate that innocent Jewish people endure -
Israeli Government policies and actions!
There’ll be no peace until they stop persecuting the Palestinians.
English

@davidprewett22 @cthulhupotamus I don’t think the Tories have changed at all. Everything coming out of Mrs Badenoch’s mouth is either desperate vote chasing or whingeing about Labour. Nothing remotely constructive or new.
English

@cthulhupotamus And that's why the Tories were smashed at the last general election
Parties do change after an election defeat
English

@davidprewett22 @tweetJumpy You’ve saved me writing about Reform! It’s full of failed Tories as well as the Conservative Party being full of failed Tories.
Now we have a Labour Government who can’t really cope with mopping up the mess of the previous 14 years.
Very little choice for us voters!
English

@HaydenJame15136 @VividProwess Unfortunately the cancer is Israel. All the organisations fighting it are like an immune system trying to get rid of it.
None of them existed before the State of Israel was established in the late 1940s. There will be no peace until Isreal co-operates.
English

@VividProwess Poor Lebanon. Will they never get rid of this cancer named Hezbollah, a malignant growth that has taken root in their country and has held them hostage for so many years?
English

@implausibleblog It’s because “decent stock levels cost too much”.
(Same old British story focusing on cost instead of value)
But the shareholders and top management are doing well 🙄🙄🙄
English

Sam Coates on Sky News highlights kerosene (jet fuel) stocks:
Japan: 27 months of supply
UK: 1 month of supply
We were unprepared for COVID — and today, we remain just as exposed to another pandemic.
On top of that, unless things change with Iran fast, we’ll be facing a jet fuel shortage
How have successive governments allowed planning to fail this badly?
English

@oftenhallett @implausibleblog That doesn’t account for their good level of diesel stocks though - unless I’ve missed something.
English

@implausibleblog Just a heads up, alot of Japanese houses don't have gas heating because of the threat of earthquakes so they use kerosene heaters to heat their homes. Hence the need for a local stockpile of that size.
English

@TheLionThatRose @KemiBadenoch Another believer of the mainstream right wing leaning media. You’ve been conned mate. Trying doing a bit of research to rediscover reality.
English

@KemiBadenoch Britain is an Islamic shit hole… by 2030 we will have a Muslim PM
English

Britain is a Christian country.
The Conservative Party will always celebrate our Christian heritage with deeds, not just words.
This Easter, we want to ensure local churches are properly maintained and repaired so we’re announcing a plan to restore funding for the Listed Places of Worship Grant Scheme which the government has recently placed caps on.
Churches matter. They aren’t just important places of worship, in many towns and villages they are the centre of the community and the pride of local people, often steeped in hundreds of years of history. It is critical we maintain them properly, because when they’re gone, this history and heritage could be lost forever.
@Conservatives believe we have a responsibility to protect our churches and make sure they endure for future generations. What are we for if not to conserve the very best of our country and our society for those yet to come?
Conservatives will protect our heritage and build a stronger country.
English

@AsiriPlug @KemiBadenoch The Muslim population of the UK is about 6% of the total. The ‘jihadist’ are probably 0.0001% of that figure, so it’s hardly an invasion. 🙄🙄🙄
English

@KemiBadenoch Current leaders of the country have allowed the country to be invaded by jihadist. If care is not taken they will overrun the country.
English

@Conservatives My god you lot are pathetic. Clutching at straws and scrabbling about for cockeyed ideas to try and get votes.
You’re finished as a party. Just go away and while you’re about it, an apology for 14 years of wrecking the country and the 11 years of Th@tcher wouldn’t go amiss.
English

@ElephantHead_BP @ProudofusUK Depends on where people live. In more rural areas with larger lawns petrol mowers are more common. In cities, not so much.
English

@ProudofusUK Tell me, do most of you use gas powered lawn mowers in England? We do here in the US.
English

🏴🇬🇧 Before 1830, nobody had a lawn.
The rich had their grass cut by scythemen. Ordinary people had no garden worth speaking of.
Edwin Budding was an engineer in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Working in a textile mill, he noticed a machine using a cutting cylinder to trim the surface of cloth.
He looked at it.
And thought about grass.
He built a machine with a cutting cylinder mounted on a wheeled frame. Then pushed it across his garden at midnight. At midnight. So the neighbours wouldn't see.
It worked.
He patented it in August 1830.
Within twenty years the Victorian suburb was born. The striped lawn. The neat garden. The Sunday morning ritual.
Every suburban garden in America. Every cricket ground. Every football pitch. Every golf course on earth.
Traces back to one man. In Stroud. With a cloth machine. At midnight.
Right now, somewhere in the world, someone is cutting their grass. And they have no idea who Edwin Budding was.

@SkyNews @ConnorGillies What an irritating interviewer!
What an irritating politician!
English

Tory leader Kemi Badenoch tells Sky's @ConnorGillies that she's "100% confident" that no one else in her top team will defect to Reform.
Robert Jenrick joined Nigel Farage's party after she sacked him from the shadow cabinet.
