Anoche hice que echaran a una "influencer" y a su fotógrafo de un restaurante de lujo porque no me dejaban cenar en paz, y ahora me están lloviendo insultos en redes sociales porque ella dice que "arruiné su sustento". Mi esposa y yo ahorramos durante meses para celebrar nuestro décimo aniversario en este lugar famoso por su vista y su tranquilidad. El problema empezó cuando esta chica, en la mesa de al lado, se pasó una hora de pie, usando un aro de luz portátil y pidiéndole al fotógrafo que le hiciera 500 tomas de cada plato mientras hablaba a gritos a la cámara. Cuando la comida de ellos finalmente llegó, no se la comieron; se dedicaron a mover las copas y hasta se pararon cerca de mi mesa para usar mi decoración de fondo sin pedir permiso. Le pedí amablemente que bajara la intensidad, y me contestó con un "estoy trabajando, si no te gusta, no salgas de casa". Llamé al gerente y le recordé que el código de vestimenta y conducta del lugar prohíbe equipos de iluminación profesional y molestar a otros comensales. Los escoltaron fuera. Ella subió un video llorando a sus historias diciendo que los "boomers" resentidos odian ver a los jóvenes tener éxito y que por mi culpa perdió un contrato de publicidad.
