@CBCIndigenous If they had any sense they would have kept the original name and adopted Epekwitk as a second name. The Indian name may have merit and meaning, but so too does the Confederation Bridge. Canada's confederation process began on PEI in 1864 and obviously should be commemorated.

Last week, the P.E.I. Legislature unanimously passed a motion urging the federal government to change the name of the Confederation Bridge to Epekwitk Crossing. cbc.ca/news/canada/pr…

@banquo3i @scottwahlstrom @Mr_Rablin You only accept and then mark the edited “new & improved” version. As soon as it’s graded, all motivation is gone. “We” trained students to work to the “mark”….. now we need to untrain them and have them work to quality and conceptual understanding.

Today a student emailed and asked what they could do to improve their grade. My response was, "What do you think you need to show me that you know to prove it should go up?" And I think I want that to be my response from here on out, because it does two things... 1/
