Remember when the Parliamentary Budget Officer revealed that Canada’s fiscal and economic situation was unsustainable? The words "stupefying” and “shocking" were used. Then the “George Clooney of finance” forced him out. And here we are. In economic collapse.

It appears that with @melaniejoly on the job, we don't need to worry about foreign election interference - because she's doing it instead.

#REPORT: The Bloc Quebecois says it will be filing a complaint with Elections Canada after industry minister Melanie Joly, who is not from the riding, was seen allegedly loitering around a polling station and asked to leave by staff during the by-election in Terrebonne.

The % of first time homebuyers who have parents co-signing, not including parents who provide financial support like down payments. Staggering. Becoming a homeowner in Canada increasingly depends not on income or how hard you work, but whether you have access to the bank of mom & dad. That's a broken social contract, and don't let entitled people who live in a different reality gaslight you into thinking you've got nothing to be upset about.

🚨“BUT PIERRE VOTED AGAINST STOPPING FLOOR CROSSING”🚨 In 2012, 142 Conservatives voted the same way. That’s party discipline, and a whipped vote. When MPs were free to decide in 2005? He voted to STOP it.

Pierre Poilievre just dropped the TRUTH about Canada We should be the RICHEST country on Earth. Largest freshwater supply Most land per capita 3rd largest oil reserves 3rd largest uranium deposits And yet… For the FIRST TIME in history… We can’t even produce enough ELECTRICITY to power our own grid. Let me get this straight… We’re sitting on GLOBAL WEALTH And living in a country in DECLINE? This didn’t happen by accident. They BLOCKED energy They KILLED projects They TAXED production into the ground

🚨CARNEY PROBE JUST GOT BLOWN UP🚨 When you are participating in an investigation into conflicts of interest about Mark Carney, it's probably a good idea that you don't have the same conflicts of interest. You can't make this stuff up folks.

How can anyone take Mark Carmey serious? He is talking about not increasing the deficit and yet he nearly doubled the deficit....He won't take out all the taxes off our gas, because he needs all these taxes to pay for his wild spending spree.

🚨 Liberal gov’t subsidies are quietly chipping away at media independence and public trust. The principle is simple: don’t bite the hand that feeds you. When news organizations rely on government funding to stay afloat, how can they be expected to hold that same government to account?

The Liberals' newest MP told the media that her letters to the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure "[...]went really nowhere, until I crossed the floor." She said the Minister's staff contacted her the day after she crossed the floor wanting to discuss projects in her riding that needed funding. The Minister says he has no knowledge of this. If ministerial staff are only paying attention to letters from Liberal ridings, then this is the very definition of corruption. We need an investigation.

Mark Carney @MarkJCarney has faced repeated questions in Parliament about his deep past ties to Brookfield Asset Management and the potential for ongoing conflicts of interest while serving as prime minister. Opposition members, particularly Conservatives, have raised concerns in the House of Commons and at the ethics committee about funds he helped oversee at Brookfield, including green transition vehicles domiciled in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. These jurisdictions are frequently described in committee testimony as tax havens, and critics point to estimates from experts that Brookfield had a tax gap exceeding six point five billion dollars in the years overlapping his involvement. Canadian pension funds hold significant investments in Brookfield vehicles, some using these offshore structures, and members have questioned whether public retirement savings are being directed in ways that align too closely with the former firm's strategies. During ethics committee hearings, testimony highlighted that Carney maintains financial interests tied to Brookfield performance, including potential future payouts in the tens of millions of dollars from certain funds, even after placing assets in a blind trust. The committee examined the adequacy of his conflict of interest screen, noting that it covers only a limited portion of Brookfield's vast operations, with testimony confirming that ninety five percent of Brookfield owned and operated companies fall outside the screen. Senior aides administering the screen, including the chief of staff and the clerk of the privy council, lack full knowledge of specific holdings, and there is no independent oversight or public reporting mechanism on how decisions are made. Brookfield's chief operating officer appeared before the committee and confirmed under questioning that increases in the company's value would benefit Carney's interests. Opposition MPs argued that the blind trust and ethics measures fall short, especially after reports of private meetings between Carney and Brookfield executives, which some viewed as inconsistent with the screen's intent. Calls have grown for stronger rules on assets in tax havens, limits on blind trusts, and greater transparency to prevent apparent conflicts. At the same time, the government under Carney has implemented a Comprehensive Expenditure Review involving spending restraint across departments to address deficits and reallocate resources. Departmental plans show adjustments and projected reductions in various areas, including efficiencies at agencies like FINTRAC, the body responsible for analyzing financial transactions and suspicious flows. Members of Parliament have connected these broader fiscal measures to ongoing debates about oversight of complex international financial activities, including those involving offshore structures used by large asset managers. Critics in the House have pointed out the optics of tightening budgets on watchdogs while policies on infrastructure, energy transition, and pension capital continue to intersect with sectors where Brookfield remains active. Hearings on offshore tax havens at the finance committee specifically referenced Brookfield's domiciles and tax practices under Carney's earlier leadership. These issues have fueled widespread discussion among parliamentarians and the public about whether current conflict of interest rules adequately address the scale of a prime minister's prior corporate entanglements. The ethics committee has recommended a full review of the Conflict of Interest Act, including stronger provisions on tax haven assets and compliance measures. While the structures and investments are legal and longstanding industry practices, opposition voices continue to press for clearer accountability so that decisions appear to serve Canadians first rather than risking any perception of favoritism toward connected networks.

For every $1 of investment our workers got, $2 left. Mines shuttered. Mills closed. Projects halted. Pipelines blocked. 11 years of Liberals. 11 years of opportunity lost to bureaucracy, red tape, and higher taxes. Mark Carney's Liberals are only getting in the way by adding 12 new bureaucracies to gum it up further. Get government out of the way and let our workers unlock an economic boom for Canada: conservative.ca/cpc/support-th…
