Not defense as in legal defense. If the DOD believes that there is mass mis and disinformation surrounding covid that puts Americans in danger then they fund news outlets to counter those dangerous narratives. To be clear, I don't think the gov. should do that because much of their info was speculative and in many cases ended up being incorrect but that's very different than saying they were trying to manipulate to population to participate in a socially engineered obedience experiment.

Where does it show the $9 million figure? It's not in your screenshot. There are two ways to read this as well. "Active Social Engineering Defense" followed by "Large Scale Deception" could either mean what Elon implies, the gov. is paying rueters to social engineer through large scale deception OR it could be read as rueters is being paid to defend against social engineering that the DOD believes is happening through Large Scale Deception. Surely you guys will investigate to see which of those is correct. Of course your going to post more info than just gov. give money. I know your gonna do that.
