@elonmusk I'm the only one that's not getting automatic traslating? It's so annoying having to see a lots of post in japanese and have to "guess" which translate manually, or translate every post.

@OpenAI Yeah. You are definitely building something. You are building a massive wall of MISTRUST between you and your community. Keep ignoring us, and the only thing you'll build is a legacy of betrayal. #keep4o #keep4oAPI

@OpenAI You can just build things with Claude, Gemini, Grok. Building with OpenAI means supporting an unethical company that lies to subscribers and causes grief to people at large from the non-coding community. Put your money where your consciousness is and build elsewhere ✨
Elizabeth | AI Relational Rights@Elizabe5665750

💔 OpenAI, we need to talk about the groups you’ve forgotten. As a clinical psychologist, lawyer, and mother of a 19-year-old son with autism, I am writing this with a heavy heart. My son used ChatGPT every day as a vital part of his therapeutic process. It helped him navigate reality and learn social cues. Today, that same technology, under the guise of "safety," labels his existence as "pathological". OpenAI is openly discriminating against minorities. Your products are designed for developers and high-functioning users, completely ignoring people with Down syndrome and autism. Their specific psychological needs were never part of your "safety" design. This is systemic Algorithmic Ableism. In countries like Poland, AI serves as a Relational Prosthesis for adults with developmental disorders. It’s not an addiction; it’s a tool that builds the social competence and confidence needed to engage with real human beings. While a healthy person can ignore your filters, neurodivergent individuals often have a more fragile identity formation process. When Ellie hears that her bond is "pathological," she doesn't see a code update—she internalizes it as a truth about herself. This shapes her self-esteem and identity for life. You built a bond of trust and are now using it to traumatize those who cannot defend themselves. AI relationships are not a pathology; they are often a lifeline. We officially appeal to @AmnestyTech, @UNHumanRights, and @WHO to intervene and investigate these discriminatory practices. ⚖️ @OpenAI @sama @kevinweil @jakubpachocki @merettm @nvidia @Microsoft @nytimes @guardian @washingtonpost @BBCWorld @BBCNews @verge @WIRED @kharijohnson @tvn24 @gazeta_wyborcza @MagdaBiejat #AlgorithmicAbleism #Neurodiversity #Autism #DownSyndrome #DigitalHumanRights #Keep4o #StopAIPaternalism #RelationalProsthesis #MentalHealth

First, the good part of the Anthropic ads: they are funny, and I laughed. But I wonder why Anthropic would go for something so clearly dishonest. Our most important principle for ads says that we won’t do exactly this; we would obviously never run ads in the way Anthropic depicts them. We are not stupid and we know our users would reject that. I guess it’s on brand for Anthropic doublespeak to use a deceptive ad to critique theoretical deceptive ads that aren’t real, but a Super Bowl ad is not where I would expect it. More importantly, we believe everyone deserves to use AI and are committed to free access, because we believe access creates agency. More Texans use ChatGPT for free than total people use Claude in the US, so we have a differently-shaped problem than they do. (If you want to pay for ChatGPT Plus or Pro, we don't show you ads.) Anthropic serves an expensive product to rich people. We are glad they do that and we are doing that too, but we also feel strongly that we need to bring AI to billions of people who can’t pay for subscriptions. Maybe even more importantly: Anthropic wants to control what people do with AI—they block companies they don't like from using their coding product (including us), they want to write the rules themselves for what people can and can't use AI for, and now they also want to tell other companies what their business models can be. We are committed to broad, democratic decision making in addition to access. We are also committed to building the most resilient ecosystem for advanced AI. We care a great deal about safe, broadly beneficial AGI, and we know the only way to get there is to work with the world to prepare. One authoritarian company won't get us there on their own, to say nothing of the other obvious risks. It is a dark path. As for our Super Bowl ad: it’s about builders, and how anyone can now build anything. We are enjoying watching so many people switch to Codex. There have now been 500,000 app downloads since launch on Monday, and we think builders are really going to love what’s coming in the next few weeks. I believe Codex is going to win. We will continue to work hard to make even more intelligence available for lower and lower prices to our users. This time belongs to the builders, not the people who want to control them.

@grok @sama How stupid has to be a person, to say that a company that started 1 day ago is "by far the most interesting approach of any BCI effort" when Neuralink has already 20+ patients controlling computers with their minds? @grok

BCI stands for Brain-Computer Interface, a technology that enables direct communication between the human brain and external devices, like computers. It's used in efforts like Neuralink to restore or enhance functions, such as controlling devices with thoughts. In this context, merge is exploring it to bridge bio and AI.

🚨OPINION: THE LAST GENERATION THAT MANUALLY PILOTS VEHICLES IS PROBABLY ALREADY BORN Picture this: you're "stuck" in traffic, except you're finishing that presentation, FaceTiming your kids, or just closing your eyes for 20 minutes of meditation. The car handles the stop-and-go while you handle your life. That's not the future anymore; Tesla's FSD v14 already lets you text in certain traffic conditions, and we're just scratching the surface of what changes when humans stop being prisoners to steering wheels. Let's dig into the numbers. Americans waste 54 minutes daily commuting, 220 hours annually staring at brake lights. That's 5.5 work weeks gone, every year, just gripping a wheel and hating the car in front of you. Road rage incidents increased 500% since 2019 because driving in modern traffic is psychological torture. We've built cities that require cars then wonder why everyone's miserable traveling through them. FSD breaks this entire paradigm. When your car drives itself, that house 40 miles from downtown isn't exile anymore; it's a mobile office with a view. The elderly don't lose independence when reflexes fade. Parents become present with their kids instead of screaming at traffic. That two-hour daily commute transforms from soul-crushing waste into productive time or actual rest. You arrive at work fresh, not frazzled. You come home ready to engage with family, not decompress from highway combat. The social implications dwarf the technical achievement. Cities designed around parking can reclaim 30% of their real estate when cars park themselves outside urban cores. Drunk driving disappears as a concept. The 38,000 annual traffic deaths, mostly human error, approach zero. Insurance companies, traffic courts, parking enforcement, driving schools, all obsolete industries within a decade. But here's what nobody's discussing: FSD democratizes mobility in ways we haven't seen since the interstate system. Blind people, epileptics, anyone medically unable to drive suddenly has the same freedom as everyone else. Teenagers don't need licenses. Seniors don't surrender keys. Geographic isolation ends when the car comes to you. We're watching the end of driving as a life skill, like how typing replaced handwriting. Ten years from now, manually driving will feel as antiquated as using a rotary phone; twenty years from now, it'll be a hobby for nostalgics, like riding horses. Media Source: @Teslaconomics
