CRISPR-Cas-based technologies have greatly expanded our knowledge of diseases, their genetic components, and the development of targeted therapies. Notably, these technologies allow researchers to permanently edit the genetic code, or temporarily switch genes on/off. #crispr

BioZone researcher Ebrahim Vahabli aims to make smart cardiovascular implants by harnessing the capabilities of this technology to assist surgeons in diagnosing and applying timely interventions for various cardiovascular conditions. #biozone #uwa

T3mPLATE's new Melt Electro-Writer is finally up and running! BioZone researcher Michael Vernon will be using it for 3D printing of advanced tissue engineered constructs. It is the biggest of its kind in WA and capable of printing at 230°C with a resolution of 200 nm! #BioZone
