@pp_reef @esjesjesj Some dangerous jobs are highly skilled, yes. A majority of dangerous jobs globally? Fuck no.

@BiochemAnalytic @esjesjesj That’s a pretty baseless claim. Dangerous jobs aren’t done by the “bottom 5% of intelligence,” they’re done by people with specific skills, training, and a higher tolerance for risk. A lot of those roles require real technical ability.

The CDC admits the Covid vaccine is causing myocarditis and cancer yet they haven’t pulled it off the market. This is an absolute crime at this point.

@GenericExcept @esjesjesj 90% of employment-related deaths are men. ~5k men die a year from their occupation. Best study we have on prostitution deaths in a year is ~300. BTW- Most prostitutes are women because most customers are straight men. Even amongst male prostitution, most are gay/bisexual.

@pp_reef @esjesjesj Dumb≠not contributing to society. These jobs need to happen, but rarely by intelligent people. Men occupy more of the bottom 5% of intelligence just as they occupy more of the top 5%. That bottom 5% needs a job just the same as everyone else.

@esjesjesj Your entire argument is so easily broken when you realize that jobs like this need to happen. Literally most jobs that keep the inferstructor of the entire world working are usually dangerous like this and are vast majority worked by men. Women simply choose not to work them.

@MaddMillennial @esjesjesj Dumb people need jobs too. Women tend to lean towards customer facing roles and men lean towards more manual labor to fulfill provider roles when lacking education or experience. Being dumb doesn’t imply a lack of societal contribution or appreciation- quite the opposite.

"Dumb enough?" You really are retarded, aren't you? Why don't you just go live in a cardboard box then - probably better than you'd be able to muster, had all those "dumb" men not done the hard shit to get civilization and society to where it is today. You are a fucking moron.

@Carina_Amyth @AlejandroCO303 @esjesjesj I worked in agricultural sanitation, hauling hundreds of pounds of hoses in unsafe and unsanitary conditions for 12+ hours/day ive fell two stories onto concrete, electrocuted, and covered head to toe in crap and rotten flesh. I didn't get a button and didn't see any women there.

@SnackBioTech @ABShaheen115 @IanCopeland5 My point was stated in the first comment I posted & had nothing to do with the photo op directly. It seems more like you just hate Ian than actually giving a shit about what my actual point was.

This picture of me in the lab at Norfolk State University was taken 10 years ago today. I'm not some antivax clown. I'm an actual scientist I actually do science in real life. There's not a pizza delivering, Uber driving "free thinking" antivaxer that can out think me, in this life or the next. That may sound arrogant. Good. I get paid to be arrogant, and correct...

@ABShaheen115 @IanCopeland5 In areas you can wear coats with metal clasps, they are super easy. We all have buttons here. Our undergrad chem students wear full lab coats and don’t see anything worse than saline their first semester. There are definitely occasions it’s security theatre.

@SnackBioTech @ABShaheen115 @IanCopeland5 You seem to be able to discern this is a photo op, which answers all your questions. My lab doesn’t deal with biologics at all, and I haven’t worked at one that does for a couple years. We are considered bench science all the same.

That just depends on the BSL level of your workspace. Can you justify someone doing an inoculation with a wide open mouth and open lab coat? You can say it’s just a photo op, which is probably true. But you can’t say that the evidence in this photo shows someone who is performing bench science correctly.

@SnackBioTech @ABShaheen115 @IanCopeland5 I'll agree the actual purpose of lab coats aren't for warmth, and I could've phrased that better. My point on a majority of labs not really requiring one stands. It's security theatre only serving warmth & maybe avoiding a stain or two on your clothes. Today I have a sweater :)

@ABShaheen115 @IanCopeland5 There are few occassions lab coats are really needes. Mainly just because labs are cold and just some extra security. I don't prefer having mine buttoned around flames or moving machines in case I need to disrobe quickly.

@IanCopeland5 Your lab coat does to protect you from scrutiny if you are violating medical ethics by mandating experimental treatments without informed consent . Josef Mengele was a doctor .

Ok, I'm going to explain this simply. Tylenol reduces glutathione. Glutathione is an antioxidant that highly mitigates inflammatory damage. If a mother has an illness during pregnancy, something called maternal immune activation (MIA) can occur in response. This is known to cause deleterious effects to fetal development. This is all well documented and not controversial. If she takes Tylenol during this inflammation to reduce symptoms, it can also cause a reduction in the ability to mitigate the inflammation, which can exacerbate any potential fetal damage. There is a risk to benefit ratio in every medication. In this instance, the risk is fetal damage, and the benefit is reduction in symptoms. The risk outweighs the benefit. Vaccines cause inflammation. That is, in fact, the goal. Create inflammation to generate an immune response. So pregnant women are given vaccines, which causes inflammation, and cause MIA, which potentially harms fetal development, and then are given Tylenol, which simply exacerbates the situation. I really wish people would just look at these things from an empirical perspective and stop politicizing everything. Feel free to look up anything I just said. It's all textbook medical knowledge. For decades, doctors implored pregnant women to take extra care of themselves, avoid all drugs, toxic foods, get adequate rest, reduce workload, etc, because a developing fetal is exceptionally vulnerable. Please stop spreading incorrect information that harms patients.
ABC News@ABC

Taking acetaminophen, also known by the brand name Tylenol, during pregnancy had no effect on children developing autism, according to a study of over 1.5 million children in Denmark published this week. abcnews.link/W8uhOQ1

@RUBENZONKA @WachterShaun @AndrewZywiecMD Tylenol has stated they can not recommend any products for pregnant women and advise you to speak with your doctor. You know... Because you can't recommend ANY medication to pregnant women. It's all under advisement of a physician. It isn't rocket science.

@warrior4621 @DennyTore @polo5546373 @DavidWolfe Big pharma want to make record profits. The majority of scientists are on salaries comparable to teachers (or are professors). We make more disproving accepted science than reinforcing. Most projects don't take bias money & traditoonally publish bc it fucks their COI statement.

@DennyTore @polo5546373 @warrior4621 @DavidWolfe That's not an expert. That's a politician. Which was explicitly stated as major parts of the problem in my comment days ago. Again, politicians and media coverage overshot & disobeyed early data by actual expert scientists, and now we blame/distrust... the scientists?
