@unseen1_unseen How Trump handles this will determine the course of Western Civ for the next century. It's not gasoline we should be concerned about; it's Diesel Fuel.

Prediction, when the gas prices fall back to low $2/gal in the next couple of months, the news media will forget there is such a thing as gas prices.

@CommodMkt @SquawkCNBC Trump's OBBB already laid out the red carpet. Including the greatest increase in Bio-based Diesel mandates ever The country is literally sitting on an economic explosion 💥 It's no longer about mass production; but instead, production by the masses. The Peoples Fuel

Five "deal" announcements, zero closed (yet). That's a trend. Sell the tweet, buy the molecule. Iran's leverage increases with every day that passes and inventories decline, while it decreases for the West. Thank you to @SquawkCNBC Asia for having me on this morning. Attached is the clip: 50 years of efficiency made oil cheaper per unit of GDP but more irreplaceable in function -- it is the rare earth of the macro system. cnbc.com/video/2026/05/…

The Really Old Corn Project lives again! Planting corn that would have been grown at the time when our Nation was born. This one is a New England Flint, already growing on the Continent when the first Europeans arrived. More to come....

Kamala Harris’ best friend Roy Cooper abandoned our rural communities, leaving our farmers out to dry in favor of liberal elites. That’s why this week, @WhatleyNC met with family farmers in NC to talk about how he will fight for our farmers and rural communities in the Senate.

Farm Action
Farm Action@FarmActionUS·
This farmer just revealed how mega corporations “dominate the market” and drive their competition out of business. Cesar Mora grows fruit on a 70-acre farm in California. But when he tried to find retailers to sell his product himself, the “big marketers” immediately came in and undercut his prices. “They will find a way to eliminate your business.” “And they’ve done that to me.” He feels that his only option is to sell his product to the big marketers to take his product and sell and ship it themselves. But then, those companies take all the profits for themselves, leaving him struggling just to keep his operation alive. Countless independent farmers and growers like Mora are trapped in the same broken system across America. Which is why the 2026 Farm Bill currently being debated in Congress is a pivotal bill for them. Congress has a choice: They can either strengthen the farm safety net for growers like Mora by expanding access to crop insurance and other risk management programs, increase federal investment in independent growers, and strengthen support for diversified production. Or they can double down on the current system in which the food system is concentrated in the hands of a few mega corporations mass producing commodity crops that don’t even feed us. Our new blog shares Mora’s story and breaks down why this year’s Farm Bill is a critical opportunity to save independent farmers and growers. Read below:🧵

Fun Fact: In 1969, under Richard Nixon’s “New Federalism” plan, 100 new cities were planned to accommodate a significant rise in population before year 2000. One of those “new cities” was planned for right here in North Carolina: Soul City. Soul City was envisioned by Floyd McKissick. The Civil Rights leader wanted a black-led city to combat urban decay, reverse black out-migration from the rural South, create economic opportunities, and promote black capitalism. The new community was designed to accommodate 30-50k residents within 5000 acres in Warren County. The plan laid out housing, industry, jobs, schools, recreation, a health clinic, pool, fire station, and infrastructure. Funded by HUD loans and bonds, the community was one of only 13 or 14 of the new cities to receive funding and broke ground in the early 1970s. Roads were constructed, a few buildings were built, and some new residents showed up - but the 1970s recession, difficulty attracting industry, political opposition, and the remote location stifled potential growth. And in 1979, HUD halted new funding. The land and most assets were taken over by the federal government who repurposed them by adding a correctional facility in what was intended to be the industrial park. Today, Soul City is little more than a neighborhood surrounded by a modern ghost town of abandoned buildings and fields. 💫
