We were joined virtually by Prof. @FaithOsier, the initiator of BRAINS and an award-winning African immunologist, paediatrician and educator. She provided an overview of the inception of BRAINS and why the program, which is funded by @EUinKenya, is so important for Africa.

On #WorldMalariaDay let us remember that 95% of malaria cases are in sub-Saharan Africa. We must not take our foot off the gas in the fight to prevent and treat #Malaria. We need more investments & innovations to tackle this crisis that disproportionately affects Africa.
