Sometimes it’s a peaceful tour (although the Capitol was not open for tours), other days it was Democrats dressed up like Trump supporters, and then often it is described as true patriots and heroes who are now wrongfully jailed. Which one was it, GOP? All I know is what I saw and it was a horrid day with rioters causing injuries, deaths, and trying to overthrow our government as they called for Mike Pence to be hanged. My parents always said once you tell a lie, it will come back to bite you. One lie leads to other lies. That’s what has happened with the GOP and their description of the Jan. 6th Insurrection. They’ve told so many lies that they can’t even keep them straight. As Abraham Lincoln said, “No man has a good enough memory to be a successful liar.”
