It's embarrassing to be associated with crypto anymore. The cypherpunk culture and ideals we once held tight have been drowned out by slobbering degenerate memecoin dopamine junkies. The vision still exists - crypto can be more than a glorified casino - but the reputation has taken on irreparable damage. It's going to take more work than ever for builders to overcome the mountain of suspicion that their product is "just another scam" - not to mention garnering normie attention will require exceptional effort.
