A visit from Trudy Birt today, the last resident of Bishops' House! Trudy brought her grandchildren along and explained what the house looked like when she left in 1973, before the house was restored and turned into a museum.

Excited to be bringing Bhajan Bhoy to Sheffield. This will be a glorious night of cosmic sound. With support from Sheffield's wonderful Slow Galley's Drift.

Tomorrow night (Friday)!! We welcome Soft Noise Ensemble from Norway. Operating somewhere at the junction of jazz, free-improv and (soft) noise. Expect sonic explorations of objects hidden sounds, double bass rumblings, and textural synth layers. Plus support from ADRA.

The Sheffield Heritage Fair was good while it lasted though! There were all sorts of people displaying stalls there including the @FOBSheffield, @SheffieldCastle, @WardsendCem, @HHBuildings, @BishopsHouse, and many more, it was really interesting 🤓 #Sheffield
