@EdWilliams_SOS I’m afraid this will usher in even further ignoring off MBB. Jim Weaver’s dream of a Penn State South may yet come true. Not that WB was helping MBB much but JF is going to make the call on this hire and MBB could be completely ignored.

Congrats to Whit on his retirement People will get jokes of now, but I think overall Whit did a good job at VT, and his career will be remembered a lot differently in 10 years vs now. Bunch of all-time moments under WB…. Excited for new leadership in this new modern era

@vick757 The top of college sports is better and more competitive than the previous decade but the current model isn’t allowing for the middle class to compete and is in danger of erasing the lower tier completely. Kind of reflective of the current economy.

Some of y’all keep saying college sports are being ruined but all I see is a significant increase in Podcasts, You Tube Shows, Twitter Spaces, and Articles constantly discussing College Football and Basketball teams, rankings, upcoming seasons and players. Ratings and viewership is up as well.

@BillyRayTweets I think it’s very fair to weigh the opinion of a fanbase who watches every minute of every game, compared to guys behind a monitor who look at box scores. If you watch this team day in and day out, it’s a solid (not great) team that should absolutely be in the tournament.

Nate, Welcome back. Given your 9-5 I thought you’d be more adept at presenting full context. Especially when judging this year given the injuries and other occurrences over the season. It’s also worth pointing out that the Hokies were considered a bubble team by most coming into the year. Which is *checks notes* exactly where we are. It is an indisputable fact that Mike Young has overachieved over the totality of his tenure given the funding of this program and I fully believe he is the best option moving forward. You and others are certainly open to feeling differently. Also, you have “take” written in your response which is ironic given the fact that you often bring nothing to the table in these discussions you tend to just yell loudly “I DISAGREE WITH YOU” and offer no actual stance. You can do better than this and disagree while also standing for something. I believe in you!
