I wanted to weigh in on the EGL debate.
First, TL;DR for those who're out of the loop: Ethereum's "block size" has always been controlled by miners. The EGL project created a "gas governance token" so that users with EGL *vote* on the gas limit, and miners get paid to follow. 👇
