Yes, the temptation to optimize a winning hand is one of the oldest traps in investing. Cuz when one is deeply convinced an asset will reach that $1mil you speak to, the logical play is to minimize "counterparty risk" and "execution risk" by locking it away. Yet, the urge to tinker is incredibly strong I'd have to say!

The amazing thing is you KNOW its going to 1MM. Deep in your bones you know it. You could just hold in ultra safe multi-sig cold storage. But some voice inside your head says, I've got this complicated idea...

What they don't understand is that people who are honest to themselves as well as to others don't ever have to, or even can, think about their reputation. You gain a good reputation by being a good person and standing up for what you believe in. Not by gamifying your words to gain a good reputation.

I'll keep you mind. You never know! Maybe sometime down the road we have the grandbabies helping in the summer as they need to earn their keep for their horses we bought them and some other farming stuff. In the winter we have our ranch hands and they live on-site in one of the outer bunk houses. If theres ever an opening I'll keep you in mind. We live in Northern Michigan away from all the cities and the bs that goes along. We have 1000 acres with 100 acres for the horses to graze and a 100 cleared that we use for other.

Agreed, Bruce is not only a huge knowledge base but when you listen to him talk, its very refreshing. At my age its not always how much you know and the use of fantasy words, but more importantly how I feel when I hear someone talk from his or her heart and truly for the ppl. For all the coretards sending panic into the hearts of hodlers over a chain-split, listen, BIP-110 will win. But incase it doesn't, and since you can't think for yourselves👇 BIP110 is a *soft fork*. It is not an altcoin launch. We’ll give it enough time for the PoW, economics, and game theory to play out. If it gains steam, it will succeed. If it becomes clearly hopeless, BIP110 supporters will accept defeat, abandon the clearly stranded chain, and go back to the drawing board on how to protect Bitcoin from centralization. We are not gonna turn around and become shitcoiners by building “110 Coin” adding another dead Bitcoin fork to the dozens that already exist. Some rogue actor might try to revive a failed BIP110 branch, but that would be his altcoin and have nothing to do with our current effort. Bitcoin coldstorage hodlers have NOTHING to worry about with respect to a chain-split. If BIP110 succeeds, everything happens under the hood with nodes reorging naturally to Bitcoin's single blockchain. If BIP110 fails we won't get two competing coins; we'll simply have lost the first battle in a war against centralization that never ends, that's all.

I love that bitcoin has no board members like traditional business and that is decentralization, Cuz... Bitcoin's lack of a board of directors is a core feature of its decentralization. If your part of this message and of the new age mindset of doing business then the only choice in my opinion is Bitcoin. The traditional ways with boards and just few making the decisions is going to become extinct and that I believe scares many of those ppl with that mindset. They also will not be able to stop the new age driving force and Bitcoin will prevail.
