What the dating apps are doing is milking the desperate incels through premium subs and boosts. How do you differentiate between an incel with zero traction and a chad who is getting one night stands for free with little effort? In a fair system, the chad would pay, not the incel. But the platform also wants to keep the chad, as he’s the most attractive catch. Paying for matches is like income tax. You disincentivize what you tax. Chads will go to a platform where they don’t have to pay.
