@BitcoinMotorist misleading, because 110 is simply not seen as relevant enough. And even come activation, they may simply just keep mining as they are now, which naturally causes a split with you on the minority losing end.

While BIP110'ers position themselves as decentralizing Bitcoin, there is only one implementation that is '110 compliant': Knots. So they're centralizing development under their leader, Luke. Most of us didn't sign up for Lukecoin, we signed up for Bitcoin.

@MrHodl To call it a bug is extremely generous. It's how node software works. It takes a couple of commands in CLI but Start9 made it a GUI switch

For years: “Bitcoin is neutral.” “Bitcoin is censorship resistant.” “Bitcoin is digital energy.” “Nobody controls it.” Then someone uses blockspace in a way they dislike and suddenly they become the communist hall monitors of Bitcoin: “BITCOIN IS MONEY ONLY 😡” Oh, so Bitcoin can be anything…just like energy….but only after the Use Case Committee approves it? You’re all a bunch of fckin communists. Bitcoin doesn’t give a single fuck about your religious definition of what it’s “supposed” to be. It has consensus rules. If a transaction follows the rules, pays the fee and gets mined, your feelings about its “purpose” are irrelevant. If Bitcoin is only permissionless until someone does something you hate with it then you never believed in permissionless money. Please fork off, build BSV 2.0 and spend the next decade screaming that your deserted chain is the “real Bitcoin.” The rest of us will let the network decide.

@CoSatoshi821 @zndtoshi @GrassFedBitcoin Segwit was dead, after BIP148, for no reason😄, the pools that hated segwit the most started signaling for it and Segwit activated with BIP91 as face saving move. The difference now is that there aren't any pools openly hostile to BIP110

"No that had consensus" No it didn't, it had less support than BIP110, but if it makes you feel better, right after BIP110 activates everyone will pretend they supported it the whole time and we can go ahead and pretend it had consensus too!
