Mario, I respect that you're trying to "tell it like it is," but calling this a "strategic victory" for Iran sounds like very convenient reframing of reality. Iran does have asymmetric tools — proxies, missiles, control over the Strait of Hormuz — that make a direct clash expensive for the US and Israel. That's a fact. But labeling it a "strategic victory" when your highest-ranking generals are killed, key nuclear and military sites are destroyed, your economy is under massive pressure, and your regime is fighting for survival… well, that's creative accounting, to put it mildly. Strategy means long-term goals. If the regime’s ultimate goal is to survive and hold onto power, it currently looks like they’re paying an enormous price for it. If the goal is to humiliate the West — that’s not working out particularly well either. Militarily, Iran cannot win. Strategically — it depends on what exactly we mean by “victory.” So far, it looks more like an expensive delay than a triumph. Facts before narrative, always.
