Honesty and being open about portfolio & investments in bad times: Yes, of course my porfolio & investments have taken some beatings recently, but this is simply part of the game, but since nobody here is open about this, or posts losses, here we go: 1: sold 50% of bitcoin when the weekly closed below 100k, but of course the other 50% of bitcoin i still have went down another 30% to current price level. Long term hold though 2: long term investments in tesla, google, still in profit, but of course taken some beatings recently, but willing to hold long term 3: some other stocks in invested in taking beatings too with general bad sentiment, but is normal when whole market goes down 4: of course cost of living going up as well, i am not immune to inflation, and of course costs are going up for me as well 5: side-note is that of course investments in farms, land, food-production give a great sense of resilience in these times so that is always nice to have. Off-grid farm and house as well of course, energy costs have no influence on that. But, farms need some fuel inputs as well, so these costs go up as well 6: personally refuse to invest in defense stocks, but obviously these will do well in times of war, i have none 7: have not touched oil. is very volatile and not really an oil-trader, so missed that too 8: as shared already end of last year, believed 2026 would be a tough year, and that is proving to be true so you see, you are not alone that your portfolio might take some beatings, but overall, well spread out investments will weather any storm and long term all will be fine. And if not...well...we still have the gift of consciousness always, which is the biggest reason to be grateful every day
